Rob Miller and Kane Palma-Newport have also traveled to Scotland with England Saxons. Without wanting to wish injury on anyone, I'd like to see Rob Miller involved. Hopefully Seymour gets some game time. Funny that this Saxons 22 has two opensides, yet the whole EPS has 0 :p
Like the look of the side though - Shame Garvey is missing out, but looking forward to seeing Slater in there. The two props should really be starting for England, not the Saxons. Backs looking good as well - only dodgy bit is the backrow, with Gaskell not being the best 6 around, and Johnson having to shift to 8, however there's no 8s in the squad with Narraway and Waldrom called up to England (and then injured/released) so will be interesting to see how it goes. I think Johnson will go well there though.

Front row - Good, but would have liked Paice to have a go
Second row - Good
Back row - *facepalms*
Half-backs - Good
Centres - Twelvetrees wants to pull his finger out and doubts over Joseph's fitness, but otherwise good
Wings - It's funny how the EPS has no left wings and the Saxons have 2... with another on the bench... ok, not the most important thing ever but slightly galling... anyway, Monye and May looks good, and more balanced than what we'll see from the main team. Good. I will still have a little cry about JSD's exclusion
Full-back - Good enough, although Abendanon is a long way down England's full-back list to me.

In general - Pretty good.

When did Seymour get added to the squad? Good to see

I don't think so: Sky are showing the Super League.
I think they own exclusive rights to all Saxons games so it won't be on BBC Scotland (or whatever it's called) either :( (that's why the England U20s game is being shown on the RFU website instead of the BBC, like the Wales U20s game is: because Sky bought the rights, but then decided not to bother showing it =/)

That's pretty impressive for the Kane train to get taken up with the Saxons, he's definitely one for the future. He's just come back from destroying the championship with Leeds. Good to see Bendy given a shot at fullback, he deserves a bit more in the way of international recognition (during the LV cup....)

All in all a good wee squad, especially good to see Seymour called up as well.

4. Harley
5. Ryder
6. McInally

11 Danieli
12. Scott
13. Grove
14. Brown
15. Hogg

Oh dear, not a great Scotland team there. I'd fancy England to beat them by a good score, especially considering they already have a game together under their belt.

*Ahem*

Which team is leading 33-0?

Not Scotland 'A', that's for sure!

Was just about to post in here....:(
God knows what's going on - No excuse really, these guys have had a game together (well, some of them have) and Scotland haven't.
Look forward to the highlights, just to see where the problems lie.

Good win for Scotland. It does not bode well for tomorrow.

Fingers crossed they put all of their talented players in their A team :p

I do disservice to Duncan Weir, it is actually 35-0

Brief summary of a summary from a person at the game:

13-0 HT.

Scything run for a try by Hogg plus a couple of pens.

Scottish pack dominating the English one.

England have had a player in the bin.

20-0. Mini Moray converts his own try

23- 0 Going great English pack struggling b!

28-0
Ginger ninja

Weir to Scott - try ! 33- 0 !!!!!

From the sounds of it we'd have been better off sending the U20s out...

Well....that makes for grim viewing.
Did no one tell the Saxons that this wasn't a touch rugby game? I think they only made one tackle through the whole highlights reel.

Look on the bright side, some of those could have been in the senior squad in place of the cloggers there.

Hmmm, to which side do you refer?

*Genuine question, cos' I know you are feisty.
