SA vs Wales (June 2022 series)

Will be funny to watch Wales lose to a team which the Welsh media claim devalues the series
Most sane Welsh fans understand that the SA team picked is well capable of beating Wales, there's a small minority that have complained.

The team certainly looks exciting from a SA POV (bar Orie for my money and I wouldn't have swapped both centers) BUT it looks exciting on paper and it remains to be seen if they can actually play together and be more than just exciting names on paper.

The moment you've all been waiting for.

They just make this **** up don't they? Totally useless "information" but they know that people like us can't help but click on it to see how fatuous it is. They've outplayed me again.

Same. I've got the fridge stocked up with beer and a new BBQ I'm going to christen tomorrow. Might start grilling when the ireland game kicks off at 8am.

There is a chance I may miss the game. The sprog has a pool party. However, it seems as though she might be developing chickenpox. If that is indeed the case, her spotty bottom is going nowhere and I'll be watching. Might have to get her some consolation chocolate though . . .

I really hope we get to see a foot race between Reese Zammit and Fassi. I reckon Fassi is the fastest player in SA currently. Whereas Zammit could be the quickest in 15s, along with Arundel and Penaud, and maybe even Koroibete.

Yeah he's played everywhere this season. Back 3, 10, 12 and even 9 briefly if I'm not mistaken. I've only seen him play 12 once in that match against the Scarlets and I thought he looked very good (think he got injured in that game)

It would appear this lack of continuity and nailing down a position hasn't helped him, hopefully he can nail down a specialist position or 2 moving forward.

I like him. For sure he's far from the finished product and is still pretty raw but he's got bags of potential and definitely a bit of X factor. I'm not saying he should have 15 caps by now but I would've like to see him involved in camps a lot more. All the talk from Pivac when he got that first call up was that it was looking positive but I guess he's not been happy with his development on his work on's or something. To be fair he has been injured
Pretty much this.

He can basically play any position you ask him to in the backs at pro level, which is just outrageous in the context of the modern game when you think about it. This season he is apparently going to take on the key role of 12 which is interesting. I didn't think 12 was a good fit at first but after seeing him sit down Luamape (and others) like it was nothing his defence (which was Pivac's main work on for him) has definitely improved dramatically so this might be the making of Ioan Lloyd. Playing 12 in theory allows his running and distribution to really shine, I would think this move has been endorsed by Pivac too as Pat Lam works with international set ups.

Cuthbert off is odd. If its not injury I don't see why you would do that.
