Sarries opting to send their strongest possible side down to South Africa including a welcome return for Corbus Visagie to South Africa and Chris Jack to S14 Rugby.

Despite bringing their strongest squad, a combination of jetlag, being lumbered with an utter knob of a Kiwi has been and being unfamiliar with the rebel-ELVs paired with home advantage will mean that the Stormers will be favourites...

The Vodacom Stormers team is as follows:

15. Percy Montgomery
14. Tonderai Chavhanga
13. Gcobani Bobo
12. Jean De Villiers ©
11. Sireli Naqelevuki

12. Brad Barritt
11. Richard Haughton

Don Barrell*, Matt Cairns*, Kris Chesney*, Andy Farrell*, Cencus Johnston*, Jordan Mitchell*, Rodd Penney*, Gordon Ross*, Dave Seymour*, Hayden Smith*, Kevin Sorrell*, Harry Spencer*, Edd Thrower*, Alex Walker* and Mickey Wilson*

Andy Kyriacou, there is a name I had forgotten. How is he getting on these days, get much game time?

Yeah definitely, he's been doing really well with Sarries since coming back from his loan with Munster and is getting a fair bit of game time. I think his importance shows in that he's being dragged thousands of miles south rather than being dumped with the Academy squad playing Mont de Marsan this weekend..

Good to hear, I always like him. Is this game on the telly by any chance?[/b]

I don't think so, not on UK & Irish telly anyway. Maybe you might be able to snag an online feed from South Africa?

As for Chavhanga, I have no idea, thats probably for the Bok fans on here to answer.

Can't wait for Visagie to belt Luke Watson round the chops...

I really want to watch this game, but even here in SA I'm not sure it's being shown on Supersport. (if anyone knows if it's going to be on any form of tellie over here I'd really apreciate the info, I'd even watch ..... SABC if I have to, really really want to watch the game)

I have no idea what the Sarries team is supposed to look like, but some names I'm reading in there seems to make it a pretty good squad, and the Stormers are fielding a very good squad of their own, so I'm actually anctious to see a strength vs. strength NH vs SH club match.

Chavanga was one of the best wingers in last year's S14 untill he injured himself, again, so here's hoping he plays as awesome as he did in the past.

From what I remember Chavanga was a standout in the S14 but then floundered when playing against Wales.

He is a player with a lot of potential. But the wing position in Springbok rugby is the second most hotly contended position after the Loosies. But yeah, he is definitely the fastest man in world rugby. But, he needs to just get his confidence levels up again. He had a fantastic tournament last year, and if he can do the same this year, I'm sure he will get another shot at international level.

Brad Barritt vs JDV will be a good contest, but yeah JDV to intercept a pass from Jackson and score a try under the posts

Tonderai was the man last Super14 too bad he got injured but I remember that try against the Waikato Chiefs gees he made them look as if they were all standing still and Sosene Anesi supposedly the quickest ever All Black over 40m had no chance Tonderai smoked him hard.

Can someone please keep us all up to date with the score or even a link for coverage it would be very interesting to see how this game plays out.

Why don't they ever invite any of the New Zealand Super14 teams to go up north or come down and play here? The Western Force went up and got smoked and no the Stormers vs Saracens so why not the Hurricanes vs Tigers or Crusaders vs Munster.

That would be a good game, plenty of illegal turn-overs and other rucks offences.

Well the other half of the team that is needed is flying down I think today to join those already out there. That is going to be one seriously jetlagged team out there at Newlands tomorrow.

At least we take our pre-season friendlies here seriously unlike the Farce... :D

EDIT: Jesus, I've just read the squad list of the team who played Mont-de-Marsan last night and who is meant to be playing the Stormers tomorrow and I count two in the XV and virtually the entire bench is taking the flight down from Heathrow today!!!! This is crazy!

Seems keo.co.za has live scoring.

Saracens ahead 7 - 0 after 4 minutes.

Stormers 3 - 7 Saracens (7 minutes)

Stormers 10 - 7 Saracens (13 minutes)

Won't be able to report on the whole game, have to go somewhere in about 20 minutes, so go check it out.

Prestwick eat your heart out!!!

Stormers 43 Saracens 23 (60 mins) :bana: :bana: :bana:

Saracens - Tries: Richard Haughton, Kameli Ratuvou. Conversions: Glen Jackson (2). Penalties: Jackson (3).[/b]

Not that bad actually, pretty chuffed they could do that after jetting the best part of 4000 miles between the UK, France and South Africa! :D

Just imagine, give a few more days to rest up and get over the jetlag and there'd be a real contest there.

Stormers 43 Saracens 30 (63 mins)

No Stormers!!!Please don't let those ******** back into the game :%#%#:

EDIT:

Stormers 43 Saracens 33 (66 mins)
