I get where it comes from cause you'd have heads flying toward feet back when rucking was active. Now that rucking isn't as active it probably isn't as necessary. Even then you saw the scrum half try to control it with his feet while he was diving towards the ball.

I guess it also stops an immediate penalty for all of the previous ruck being offside as the diving player tries to present it backwards towards his team

Hard to see a way back into this for Aus, if the ball bounces 0.5m infield, or short of the line and Wales score 2 more tries.

Gareth Thomas has Slipper on toast, he just needs to be less aggressive, that last scrum proved it.

Aus looked like they threw the kitchen sink at Wales first 25 mins, but have slowed since.

100 odd tackles to 25, and they look comfortable.

As I type this the commentators explain Wales have never lost a 10 point lead, and Aus have never come back from being down at half time...

It's going how I thought so far. Australia could still claw this back, so Wales need to keep pushing.

On another note:
I wish we had an option to turn the commentary off. Every game they've talked nonsense. I know it can't be easy, but if you have nothing to say at times, it's okay to not talk. Better then spouting stuff like "tough Argentinian defense" when Argentina are not even playing.
