He's gone soft since he left us,
Mancunian Faf would've launched Marler into the stands
...and this is why scrum penalties are fundamentally ******, the vast majority of them IMO are due to one team just not being strong enough which to me is not something we should be penalised teams for. The scrum is a competition for the ball...the dominant scrum gets the ball...its not ******* rocket surgeryI understand all that, but if you are the weaker scrum what can you do to be on the right side of the ref?
im not sure how much else he could have done during the game though, if he'd heard it himself sure....but i dont think we want refs penalising teams just because someone says they heard something and i dont think anyone want a RWC semi final held up whilst they combe through footage to see if they can hear anything, siting after the game seems the best optionThere's another factor equally important, what did BOK do? did he follow the correct procedures.
He may have spoken at half time (I don't know what the protocol if for refs to speak to teams at half time).
I ask this because he appears to have done sweet **** all.
They do that now conceding 3 points!! They can use the yellow card against "cynical "interference" as a strong deterrence against deliberate fouls to prevent tries. No it wouldn't, it would encourage defending teams to stop their opponents by any means at all. It would become reasonable to risk the opposition kicking two points rather than concede seven.

And while they're at it, they should outlaw deliberately slowing down games with fake injury breaks, drinks breaks, abuse of the HIA protocols, which SA have perfected to an art form! I hope the All Blacks coach and captain alert Barnes to this insidious tactic which spoils the spectacle of a fair game.
We might get penalised and/or yellow-carded, but we score tries as well to make up for them.Lol at an All Blacks fan saying this.
you do seem to have a real chip on your shoulder when it comes to the ABs, bought into the idea they are only successful because they cheat all the time i guess?Lol at an All Blacks fan saying this.

why all the digs then? a noticeable number about getting away with stuff, refs favouring them or like the one about about a AB fan talking about a "fair game" is laughable...too the point you despise themNo. They are historically the best team. Can't deny that. Very talented. The most talented rugby nation.
Pen to who? Faf went for the tackle and pulled out making minimal contact, very harsh pen.Why is that not a penalty? I'm not salty just confused. Is it because Marler didn't move?
Basically tbh, if marler goes floppy there and hits the deck that's a penWhy is that not a penalty? I'm not salty just confused. Is it because Marler didn't move?
Hope the All Blacks annihilate them.South African rugby twitter seems to be quickly becoming an absolute cesspit from what I've seen of it. Genuine calls to prosecute Tom Curry for defamation and calling him a racist for referring it to the ref.
Genuinely some of the worst fans in the business at times. I know it's only a minority of SA rugby fans, but that minority are awful.
Personal highlight I've seen is "if Bongi said it, then the real offender is Curry as he must have done something to make him say it as he is not important enough to insult unprovoked".
Mental
