[RWC2023] England vs Japan (17/09/2023)

I feel the third try just gives England the edge in terms of performance. However, we're still playing the who can be shitter game with teams and somehow coming off better. I honestly don't enjoy watching England, it's pure loyalty now.

Osada has been poor. He is meant to be the creative hope of the side. Slightly concerning for Japan if this is their best 23. Their residency players are going to dry up and their u20s have just been relegated.

Maybe the English defence has been great the past two games and forced a lot of their opponent's handling errors? It doesn't feel like it to me. It just feels like all the Japanese players are picked for size and strength rather than hands and heads.

I think this has been the worst game I've ever seen Itoje have,
He's been quiet/anonymous for a while but today was just awful

Bonus point win!

We did better than expected. Some sloppy passes and passages of play in the first half. Better second half. Once we had some distance in the score we started playing more.
