RWC: Springboks - Samoa (30-09-2011, 20:30)

Speaking of Pienaar... Am I the only one sitting here thinking that he's actually the Illegitamite son of Henry Honiball??
No.

Manu Samoa Team to play the Boks
Samoa: Paul Williams, David Lemi, Seilala Mapusua, Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu, Alesana Tuilagi, Tusi Pisi, Kahn Fotuali'i; George Stowers, Maurie Fa'asavalu, Taiasina Tuifu'a, Kane Thompson, Daniel Leo, Census Johnston, Mahonri Schwalger (captain), Sakaria Taulafo. Reserves: Ole Avei, Anthony Perenise, Logovi'i Mulipola, Ofisa Treviranus, Filipo Lavea Levi, Junior Poluleuligaga, George Pisi.

Looks like Samoa have opted to go with a 5 - 2 split. Thinking they are going to go on full assault in the forward department. Good to see Lemi come in to the team. Sailosi has been pretty average in this competition and Lemi should add some speed. Eliota at second five a good decision, he offers another field kicking option as well as another play maker. Junior Polu comes in with experience.
Go Manu Samoa!!
Sailosi was average from Game 1. We should have went for Lemi against Wales. He would've scored...

I have to say Sapolu looked the goods in limited time against Fiji. He made some huge tackles and looked very quick. Lemi is quick and could give the Manu a different dimension. Tii Paulo will be missed. The stage is set for Fotualii to exploit the big Bok forwards particlarly before half time
His decision making on attack is a bit questionable. If stupid tweets were tries, we would ranked no 1.

I wish it was the Lions backs.
Me too.

Ultimately for Manu - fitness will be a factor again. Under current interpretation for scrumming, they will hold their own but for how long? I'm not too sure if Mahonri and the boys can keep it up. But like the NZ warriors - just got too have faith.
Go the Manu!

The Bulls don't steal, they invest!

If WP can't keep them, then why can't we buy them??

Pfft, 'invest' in players brought through the ranks in WP schools, WP academy and WP universities? I call that cherry picking/head hunting/stealing. Only the ignorant think those players weren't already 'somebody' or weren't showing class before making the move.

No reason why you can't buy them if you are able to make an offer they can't refuse but saying they were MADE in Transvaal.... BULL! LOL

oh come on you gotta give us some slack, we're sitting with Juju Malema up here...

By the way, any good company always do head hunting... it's still the guy's choice to take it or not...

I agree with you. Just saying you can't call it anything other than head hunting. Not that we don't do it ourselves. We just don't do it as well as the Bulls apart from Jaque Fourie who has been immense for us these last 2 seasons. The players will always go for the money and where they can be fast tracked; I don't blame them; Sadie would have had to play wing for at least 2 years probably before getting moved to center and he got an opportunity to move ahead. Fair enough. If he they don't have the patience and will to play for WP then I don't mind them leaving; we have enough talent here and our administrators are finally starting to invest in our youngsters rather than signing has-beens from elsewhere. We may not have won anything for a while now but watch out when this current crop of youngsters gain experience1

That's because the Bulls keep stealing our best youngsters!! :p
Probably true to a certain extent, but what we all should remember is that this is a professional game and it's run like a business or at least the Blue Bull Company is.

Sure! while you're at it, why not call Brian Lima too??

Ps. I just wanted to post something so that you all can see my signature... Do you like it??

Can't see it as my computer doesn't recognise the format:p

I hope Samoa nails it. SA had easy games up to now. Really executed much more from Fiji. Common Manu Samoa

SNOR!!!!!!That is brilliant!!!!!

Anyway, I think the Boks are going to frustrate Samoa and really put a strangle hold on the game . They are going to belt Samoa's back three with the high ball and the Boks ball will almost never go further than 12. I dont think the score will be "break-out", Springboks by 15

Samoa's 22 has been officially announced:

I hear Joe Tekori has come on to replace Kane Thompson at starting lock no.5. K.Thompson dropped to the bench.
