RWC: Springboks - Samoa (30-09-2011, 20:30)

Why is Sapolu first Choice!! AGRHH.

Are they trying to rant the Saffas to death!!

Dude.. Why is he on first!!!

I hope your right Aucklander as I keep reading elsewhere from french fans at there surprise Tekori hasnt been used more cause he is one of the most feared in France Top 14.

it's actually on the go Manu facebook page, they tend to have all the updates on the team before it's released to the media. They have been correct on all updates thus far. So i'm guessing he will be in to muscle up with the springboks forwards. It would be good as i think filipo levi's time has come to an end. He is not a good impact player and is really slow.

Eliota Sapolu at second five is a good choice. To be honest George Pisi hasn't fired at all during this world cup. Mapusua moves to centre and bringing in Eliota at second five is a good move. He brings another tactical kicking option and is more of a playmaker than Mapusua, so having him and Tusi Pisi at 10 and 12 will creat more in the back line.

Aucklander - You sure that Joe Tekori is in the starting line up? Have not seen anything yet.. He wasn't even in the match day squad announced yesterday. Unless there is an injury, the team can not be changed.

No, Pisi hasnt has he...I havent seen this Sapolu (maybe Im not sure of which one he is) so give the guy a go I say. George Pisi has had enough games to show his worth and he's been pretty quiet for a centre and you cant have that. George take a seat, roll on Sapolu.

Eliota is a good player and always been thrown in at 5/8 in World cup when he is a centre. He showed enough against Fiji in his cameo to suggest he has a lot to offer in both attack and defence.

Dunno Ronstar the team got changed against Wales albeit after injury so stay tuned in case Aucklander is on to something.

Eliota Sapolu - One of stars for Gloucestor this year. Has good hands and amazing vision and can play 10, 12 or 13. This back line excites me more than the back lines we have had so far in this world cup. With Lemi replacing Sailosi that makes the backline a bit more balanced. Lemi has a high work rate as he's always looking for opportunities and close to the action. If he can run off Sapolu and Mapusua he could be in for a try or two.

If the Samoans sent in their women, i tell you right now it would not be a fair fight. Those old ladies are straight up ruthless.

Eliota was the one who let his opposite get past him on the inside in the game against Fiji.. It was that linebreak that in the end lead to the try for Fiji.

He is also the one who snapped a Fijian almost in two with one tackle.

I'm sorry uso, one good tackle does not a strong player make.

That said, it's an all or nothing situation for the boys. I'm still not too sure that Maposua is 100% but at least he'll be able to keep some semblance of structure within the midfield. I've seen some of Eliota's games and he's indecisive on defense and a bit risky on attack.

Is there any reason why we couldn't call on David Smith? I'm not too sure if this was raised earlier this year but if you want x-factor, he's got that in spades - just ask the Western Force.

David Smith has already played sevens for new zealand.
