RWC: South Africa - Wales (11-09-2011, 20:30)

After the Super XV and Tri-Nations he's had I wouldn't call having FdP back in the mix a good thing

What, getting the best man to ever don a rugby jersey back not an advantage??

He's had 2 games in a Bok jersey for a year and a half and the 2nd was better than the 3rd though he still needs some improvement. Service was good, tackling and kicking not so much so but he's back from a 2nd spell out from injury so give him 2 more games and he'll be back. An off form FdP still a mile ahead of anyone bar genia ATM.

As for saying he was **** in S15!! No. Granted he took 3 games to get back to his best but go look at the stats again ITO tries scored by the Bulls and look how it coincides with FdP being there. Also, he is 2nd on the list for try assists (only behind Cooper) and has a few himself where he played less than half the games Cooper played.

Since when is Steven Larkham making a comeback?

:D

I do think the South Africans have every right to be confident (perhaps not arrogant).
When you look at just the stats, there is one Welsh win and plenty of narrow losses. When it comes down to it, we can't deal with the pressure. We have let halftime leads slip in the two most recent matches and lose confidence when one thing goes wrong. Granted, we have seen some improvements over the past few weeks and our fitness, which has let us down against SH sides time and time again in the second half, will not be as much of an issue. I guess we will see this weekend!

As a Welshman with my Ouma an oupa from Suid Afrika, Roodepoort infact , I find the arrogance of some of the South African posters here disgusting to put it frankly, completely writing Wales' chances off, as if by form of magic NZ climate is better suited and any other excuse under the sun, what's happened in the past in no imaterial, it's what shape the teams are looking now, The Tri nations haven't been special at all for Suid Afrika and that was recently, Wales have progressed a long way from the six nations, and could quite possibly have finished 2nd this year with a margin of error, their position didn't reflect how they played. Regarding the climate, Wales' climate is far more similar to that of NZ than is South Africa, it rains more in Wales than it does in most Of the competing countries, Welsh rugby season is duirng autumn/winter and spring just like it is in NZ and currently going into spring also, perfect conditions.

All's to play for, en ons sal sien my vriende, but don't be a domkop suid afrikaaners and write Wales chances of at your perril.

I am sorry to have heard you are injured for this match. Also, I like your hair.

Adam Jones will be there - he'll be the one making 'The Beast' cry for his mummy :D

Nee man Stormer2010, don't come being a domkop here hey ;)

@ LordHope and stormer2010: My post was sarcastic and definitely not serious, no worries ;)

We will see what happens but I am sure that we will perform and we will even score 4 tries.

If the "Beast" starts I'll be crying for my mummy :/

stormer2010, according to adamjones we are being "domkops" I've been called many things in my life, but that's a new low!

Yeah, sarcasm kind of fails on the interwebs.
Adam Jones' hair could singlehandedly beat the All Blacks, Wallabies, and Springboks. ;)
Just pray that Faletau doesn't start and Charvis returns from retirement!

Adam Jones' hair has an ecosystem of it's own.

I doubt Beast will be starting. maybe for the last 20 or so.

Oh, didn't even see that. It really hurts my feelings; being called a domkops. I should probably have read adamjones' post but didn't get past the name and # of posts TBH.

This week is gonna crawl. I can't wait for this game. Haven't been this excited for a test match since the first test against the Lions in 2009! Come on Sunday!!!!!

The movie?

I'd be interested to know who these Bok supporters are that are writing off Wales.

They are no more writing off Wales, than Welsh/ English fans would be writing off Scotland/ Italy when they play them, no?
