RWC Semi Final: New Zealand - Australia (16-10-2011, 21:00)

I find it rather amusing that 5 of the starting backs for the All Blacks played for the Hurricanes this season - probably the most under performing team in the Super 15 this year.

Don't forget the starting Hurricanes played little rugby this season. With Weepu's broken leg, Conrad's facelift, Nonu's eye socket, Hore's infavourability, Janes injury worrys and Crudens infavourability.

hold on sorry i was actually, not about kickers but when you thort it would be constructive to say "i hate remarks like this".. good one mate!

Don't take it personally. You're not the only one I've seen who has said things along the same lines where so and so will do well because they've won championships and things like that. It means very little when it comes to a game with as much pressure as this.

saw this on the internet, thought it was funny considering the weepu picture from early this week

id just love to say our weakened team beat there top lineup, it wouldnt be the same if they lost genia and so on eithier, but mind youi if we lose ill take it all back ;)

It would be exactly the same as beating their top team. The more injuries the better I reckon, hope Pocock goes down too.

Conrads facelift, Hahahaha ! Like this ! Seriously though, if the forwards fire up and do the business like they did at the earlier Eden park clash then the kiwis shouldn't be too concerned with the backline, sheeez, I reckon a really good forward pack can make even Sponge-bob square-pants look like a good rugby player, no disrespect to our immensely talented backline, but you see what I mean..

Well, do they risk playing an injured Beale??.. He may be a liability if his hamstring plays up.

No Higgers, No Sharpe , looks good to me. This team will have to play 100% better this week to win. If Beale doesn't play that's game, set, match.

Jeez no Sharpe, huge call I've always rated him.

Beale will play I'm sure of it. Starting 15 is good, not sure I rate Simmons, SLipper and Polota-Nau off the bench

not a bad forecast for sunday Long fine spells, few morning showers. Westerly easing 18 degrees.

this should suit all of us, lets face it, no one wants to see 30 blokes wearing flippers and snorkels.

Hurricanes players have been firing year in year out. From early Tana Umaga, Christian Cullen, Jonah Lomu, Jerry Collins, Rodney So'oialo days to the Piri Weepu, Ma'a Nonu, Conrad Smith, Cory Jane, Andrew Hore, Hosea Gear days. We've even let great talent slip into other franchises because we have stuck with the tried and true, Doug Howlett, Robbie Fruean, Isaia Toeava, Israel Dagg, Zac Guildford for example. The Hurricanes have constantly had the most exciting backline and a year in year out All Black dominated backline at that, Don't know why they have never won a championship to be honest.

aucklanders my friend, lomu from counties but ill take him as an aucklander haha

No Higginbotham? are you serious Robbie? For what he lacks in finesse he brings the same attack as Vickerman and we need to be abrasive to disrupt the Kiwi's and fluster them, but no instead we get Ben McCalman who hits rucks, mauls and the line with all the force of a kitten with haemophillia... All Blacks to win by 700.

IT'S GETTING CLOSE NOW GUYS!!!!!!!...... omg the excitement levels are rising
