Turkey is a member of NATO and an ally, Russia is a play ground bully trying desperately to be taken seriously by everyone because China have eclipsed them so of course my sympathies are with the Turks.

I understood your post, your English is not bad, but what you said is not true. There is just no sympathy for entering airspace of another country when Russia was warned multiple times. Russia consistently does this across Europe in the air and in the sea. There is of course sympathy for the dead pilots (for anyone who has a heart).

Here's the thing. I can't imagine that Russian plane entered Turkish airspace without direct orders from the very top. Putin did what he does in the West repeatedly. He probed, expecting a similar reaction to the one he gets when his bombers stray close to UK airspace. He didn't get it. The blood of the Russian pilots is on his hands, but don't expect to hear anything but bluster from him.

So the Turks have never invaded Syrias airspace? If I was a turkmen in the villages across the border in Syria about now id be loading my donkey up and heading back across the border right quick. They be all dead men walking imo.

The trouble is, this is a regular thing from the Russians, there have been 39 high risk incidents with NATO countries involving Russia since March 2014. That's the reason my empathy regarding this incident is with Turkey. If it were not for these constant incursions, Russia could have had sympathy from the West.

Also, if a Turkish plane flew over Russian land, there would be no question that it would be shot down, probably without warning.

lol come on, they're nearly all in foreign airspace or waters. It's an endless sea of provocative b/s from them.

They're constant with this stuff, and for that reason I have no sympathy with their jet getting shot down (other than to the pilots who were reportedly murdered on descent).
