Rugby Championship: Argentina - South Africa (25/08/2012)

Argentina are just showing far more commitment at the breakdown and in defense... it will be interesting to see whether this will last 80 mins.

Ok seriously, they are playing well, but every f**ken call is going for them.....

And also, if this is the way Meyer coaches us to play, PDV might as well have stayed.

Ominous sign for South Africa, with Morne Steyn missing his first kick....

I feel South Africa will be more effective on attack if they actually run at gaps, as opposed to straight at opposition players....

Every ruck is being slowed down by Argentina, honestly should of been card by now..

Wow. I hope Meyer has a long and really hard talk with the guys at half time, otherwise this will end ugly for us. I don't think I can take any positives out from that half for us. Argentina playing pretty well, and they have definitely won the mental battle, you can see us getting frustrated.

And holy **** I don't know who is doing the broadcasting but it sucks, sound is going loud and soft, and the camera work is horrible.

South Africa do the same no?

They would if they could, but their coach decided that it was better to pick the biggest players possible, rather than players that had an ability to do anything useful at the breakdown ;)

Anyways... great half for Argentina. Perhaps they have got away with a bit at the breakdown, but they have been throwing big numbers at the breakdown, so probably deserve the rub of the green here. Argentina have been very impressive attacking close to the breakdown - I think South Africa's defensive line is spreading out far too quickly. I certainly don't think South Africa are out of this, but they are going to have to play with a bit more commitment, and play a bit smarter if they are to come back in this game!

I think we need to replace Bekker to start with, he's having a horrible game. Move Hougaard to the wing and bring Pienaar on.

GAHD DAMN missed that try....
is this it ?! Is this the upset match I've been anticipated at some point in the tournament by the Pumas ?...
...can't wait to get some action at least from the 2nd half.

Also have to say Roncero has definitely been worth starting these last two matches.

hahaha, what a choke job by argentina. Miss a super easy drop kick and then give up a BS try.

Why isn't Lucas Amorosino pulling Messi-like moves?
