I dont support popular team games such as soccer, basketball and rugby being in the olympics, as they have there own international events. I view the olympics as being the collective showing of sporting events that dont have the financial might or popularity to go it alone, such as the rowing, athletics, swimming, field hockey, netball etc.
But if we are including soccer, we might as well include rugby sevens. We might as well throw in 20/20 cricket while were at it, then my two favourite sports will be covered by the olympics.
On sports to remove, we need to get rid of fake sports like BMX as well as boring/weird sports like Judo.
