It is all I have to go on :D and to be honest it was more like 7 not sure where the added 5 months came from.

My theory being than 9 on this welsh current team were in the starting 15 that lost at Twickenham in August before so there is hope that we can win. For the record i will be very surprised if we do and personaly as much as I hate to say it I think Wales will win. I just do not think it is going to be the walk over that some on here think it is going to be.

Whichever poster on here that has inferred that Wales are going to enjoy a 'walkover' at Twickenham, ignore their views completely and mark them down as 'mug'. :)
In response to what you've written, 9/15 may have played in that game, however since then something considerable has clicked with us and we look a million miles better than that turgid group of no-hopers that rocked up at the Croncrete Jungle that day!

Roberts and Davies were the midfield pairing when we beat Wales in the last six nations.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I presume that the six nations is played around the same time each year.

Who then smashed them at a proper stadium a week later

As I was in the might Royal Anglians I will forgive a guardsman :D We beat you in the 6N's then again in Aug 2011 pre-world cup. As has been said you beat us in the return leg.

I agree hence why I think you will win but I am sure you can see my small basis of hope. As I said I do not think we will win.

A ten point win is not smashing the other team :D

Still think that was a Warburton try at Twickers last summer though.

Oh Christ, is this being brought up again?
For the record, Haden dived and Ringer was framed.
Deans didn't score either. ;)

Both are in much better form this season aswell. Draggs, why do you say that Jon Davies isn't a great defender? He's always seemed very solid to me, and I always remember that tackle he put in on a Leinster forward a while ago, where he picked him up and drove him back 15m.
In the tackle he is very good, but up until last year his positioning was questionable. He didn't seem fully comfortable in drifting or blitz. He looked a bit out of place against the Barbarians, but since Poland he has been better. His defence against Scotland was very good, he was able to come out of the defencive line and make a good, solid hit.

On Dawson debates, he said that one of the Welsh players said that Wales weren't coming to England to win 'but to humiliate'. is this true ? Surely thats not the sign of a professional. Even England who are always being moaned at for being the 'arrogant' team wouldnt have said that. Its going to be much closer than the walk over that some are predicting and this kind of comment is naive to say the least !

I haven't read that anywhere and I've been trawling the web all week for any news on this one. Also apart from the infamous 'we could absolutely smash them' from Jiff (which has been taken a bit out of context) I don't think I've heard or read any Welsh player/coach/fan who thinks this is gonna be easy... but we are justifiable slight favourites.

England team announcement live on sky sports news at 10:15am... will answer a few questions about Lancaster methinks.

I really don't think this is true, at least I hope it isn't. Sounds like the media trying to blow up a sandstorm and trying to make a story, rather than report. The guys on both teams are too professional for this I think. I would take this with a pinch of salt, unless there is name involved.

Englands team looks ok on paper, I think this is going to be so tight I don't want to call it.

15 Ben Foden (Northampton Saints) 14 Chris Ashton (Northampton Saints) 13 Manusamoa Tuilagi (Leicester Tigers) 12 Brad Barritt (Saracens) 11 David Strettle (Saracens) 10 Owen Farrell (Saracens) 9 Lee Dickson (Northampton Saints) 1 Alex Corbisiero (London Irish) 2 Dylan Hartley (Northampton Saints) 3 Dan Cole (Leicester Tigers)4 Mouritz Botha (Saracens) 5 Geoff Parling (Leicester Tigers) 6 Tom Croft (Leicester Tigers) 7 Chris Robshaw (Harlequins, capt) 8 Ben Morgan (Scarlets).
Replacements: 16 Rob Webber (London Wasps) 17 Matt Stevens (Saracens) 18 Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints) 19 Phil Dowson (Northampton Saints) 20 Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers) 21 Toby Flood (Leicester Tigers) 22 Mike Brown (Harlequins).

yeah i saw scrum V where he said that and I think he was just getting excited about a promising Wales side. I have to say Wales are favourites but i doubt the scoreline will be that of a smashing. Instead I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was referring to the sheer size of the Wales back line smashing into contact ! lol!

I like it.
If Hodgson was there instead of Farrell and PDJ there instead of Stevens it'd probably be our strongest side from the EPS.

Good side imo, think Lancaster will have won a few friends with that one.

Gonna be one hell of a game.

I see Mike Brown is in the squad, and no Hodgeson, think as a Welshman I would have preferred Hodgeson playing.

I think Stuart Lancaster may have been reading this forum, and now we will have a lot of happier Englishmen

Hats off to Lancaster. I think he's got it right and although he's, I suspect, a loyal and decent chap, he's taken a tough decision about Hodgson. I think that's more or less the worst selection from the Welsh point of view. I'm excited now.

hodgson did not recover from a finger injury - otherwise I wonder who would be at 10? - It may be that the injury has forced the centre partnership that many people wanted to see

Chuffed to bits with the team. Dickson will supply quick ball, Morgan should be a beast, Tuilagi adds a nice attacking threat in the center and no doubt Lawes will come on and make an impact from the bench.

I'm still not expecting England to win of course, but as long as we play well and show improvement I will be happy. Can't wait!
