Premiership Rugby 19/20 - Rd 8

Quins seem to have perfected the art of screwing up the second they do anything right.

Marler, what a ***...

So dumb from Marler,
Not only to do that but to do it when both his brothers are stood right there

Quins could so easily get around the Sale defence if they actually looked to finish their passing and get it to the wing on so many occasions or doing a pass over the head of the sole onrushing defender. They don't have great vision.

Rugby should borrow from ice hockey and allow teams to bring a player on if each team gets a yellow card. We should make efforts to keep rugby 15 on 15.

He's handled that well (although took a little longer to do it than necessary). It was all more petulant than malicious which almost makes it worse. Just takes up time.

LOL at Robshaw. What was he thinking?

RJVR consistently makes so many more metres than he should be allowed to.

Harlequins really should have a team yellow on top. far too many penalties in front of the try line.

James has been very classy tonight (apart from the pull back on Ibitoye). @TRF_Olyy 12 or 15?
Hard to say - considering he was a backrower up until just over a season ago it's wild that this is the question, ha

At the moment I want to see him continue at fullback - obviously playing really well there and Sale play better with a big lump at 12 than two play makers in the midfield.

Long term? Who knows - you could count the number of games he's ever played 15 on your hands, but he's looking excellent so why not persevere with it

Quins are so deep by the time they pass wide they are about 15 metres back.

I'll take that! Finally got a BP win after coming close a few times in the past.

Sale looked really good, especially when you consider Faf wasn't playing.

Has play offs only just become a realistic goal in Diamonds mind it almost came across that way.

Dimes has said Top 4 is the target for this season - considering the investment in(/the strength of) the squad I'd hope we can squeak it but it's a very competitive league this season and we've had our share of injury troubles (Oosthuizen, de Jager, Beaumont, Wilson, Faf, Solomona and Hammersley all out atm, Akker, T.Curry and L.James all went off injured last night).
