Premiership Rugby 19/20 - Rd 18

Much needed but the damn developers haven't done anything to fix Bath being under-powered for years. The Burgess patch that was quickly withdrawn didn't fix the problem at all. Also they really hit Tigers hard with the nerf stick.
Was going to say at least Bath haven't been nerfed. Tigers been spanked so hard by the nerf stick they've almost forgotten what game they are playing.

Hoping for an exciting end here, good game so far.

Looks like me under the high ball

Also: Seems crazy to me that he's in the EPS - feel like I don't know who the hell he is still

Agreed, he was a bit of an outside pick to begin with and not many people had him pegged for England. Still don't feel like he's set anything alight with his performances. Maybe Saints fans will disagree.

Chiefs are just a winning side right now. Even in close games they find a way to win.

Far closer than I expected pre-game, and credit to saints for coming back from that opening 10mins to get the LBP but....feels like they could have gotten more

Not happy about Oosthuizen back at loosehead - I guess Harrison really was injured in the captains run last week, and not tactically removed after seeing the Bristol side. Would've started Morozov, definitely.

Hope to see Ashman and Quirke get some game time off the bench.

Quirke's Mom is from Ireland, so he'll be in a green shirt soon enough.

What's happened to Rob Du Preez by the way? I know he had some really bad games at the start after lockdown. Has he been completely dropped out of the 23 for 2 games in a row or is he injured?

I wondered the same TBH. To be fair, his only real stinker was against Quins. He was fairly decent/good against Exeter.

MacGinty is underrated IMO. He's not the most creative 10, but he's a good game manager, a very reliable kicker and a pretty solid defender. He'll be ideal with that midfield. RdP is a bit more creative, but Is less consistent and if I were picking the Sale side, I'd probably go for MacGinty.

RdP is injured - not sure with what, but commentary mentioned it in the Wasps game

Nice little dummy from Farrell there's even if it didn't come off.
Nice to see him eyes up and trying something

And a second time, dummy the short pass, delay a step, release the long pass

Looks like there'll be an opening at 10 for England then
Farrell straight red for a swinging arm to the head

Brilliant poacher's try.

Just wish we could manufacture some backs tries rather than relying on that sort of thing and rolling mauls.
