Owen Farrell set to make Guinness Premiership history.

Owen Farrell, son of former man 'o' steel, shadow of his former self and perpetual target of Teh Mite's ire, Andy Farrell, will take to the field against Scarlets this weekend.

At the age of 17, he will be the youngest Guinness Premiership player, beating Danny Cipriani by 36 days.

Actually, looking at how many academy players there are in this side. It shows two things:

1) The Guinness Premiership still doesn't give a jot about the EDF cup.
2) Saracens academy structure is awesome and is starting to mature.
3) The last two weeks of Guinness Premiership rugby has been hellish for the players, hence the huge rotation changes!

EDIT: To be fair, Owen is starting on the bench so Regan King is up against an England under 21s Fly Half and a clapped out Argentinian winger. I think the Scarlets pack could be having a break dance competition and King would still dance around Goode and Leonelli.

Unless you're going to be incredibly pedantic, as long as Saracens says its breaking a record, it does actually count believe it or not
