What a pathetic excuse for a rugby team Ireland is. Game over after 14 minutes. The gulf between these teams is as big as ever and they knew it which is why they had to submit to dirty tactics which thankfully Wayne Barnes was all over. Expected so much more from this game. Can't wait to see Israel Dagg, Cory Jane and Sitivatu as the back three...

Bit harsh to call them a ''pathetic excuse for a rugby team'', considering they have a hell of a lot of injuries in their forward pack, had a man sent off (which like I said was perfectly justified and nobody's fault but Heaslips) and weren;t they down to 13 men at one point? Remember it was only last year that they beat the Springboks, something which the All Blacks didn't do last year! Ireland will bounce back from this, will be interesting to see how they do against the Wallabies now.

For a while I didn't notice what the point of that was, then I saw it.

Ouch, take 2 asprin and try to tell us what year this is please.

Wow ... thats bad, could not make it out on TV.

It is pretty bad, it's really annoying to see such a good player throw away everything for his team like that. Fair play to Healy though, it's good to see that he could see what's important and blocked opff Heaslips 2nd knee.

Very disapointed with Heaslip because he got the red card his band should be 10-12 weeks. We lost this game by that this amount simply because Heaslip was pathetic and O'gara got the yellow card. Very good play by the AB to take advantage of every mistake made by Ireland. Thought New Zealand were very good with ball in hand.
Basically Ireland were down to 13 men for 10 mins this meant that NZ had an overlap al the time and tackling was so much harder. For 70 mins The Irish players had to play so much harder just because of Heaslip.

The positives if any

-Buckley was so impresive his handling is great
-touhy was impressive
-BOD was quite solid
-Trimble was good

In the second half I was so impressed by Ireland we had already lost the game with the AB looking like reaching 100 points. for the team to pick themselves up in the dressing room and put in a soilid and hearty performance is brilliant.

well done NZ and a gutsy perfomance from Ireland who really didin't stand a chance after two players had been sent off.

You learn more from a loss but gain more from a win

Ha Ha - Still that was so unlike Heaslip stupid but not Heaslip
I've always been a fan of him and well never see him as a dirty player, always an honest, tough competitive player
What?! He Kneed a helpless Mccaw on the ground and if his team mate hadn't got in the way he may have kept going Bullshit he's not a dirty player. There are plenty of players that wouldn't be considered dirty, in fact most players will not perform such a dirty move in there careers, this was clearly intentional which is worst of all.

Well done to the rest of the Irish team who put up a fight.Full credit to the Allblacks plenty of positives, although a must improve for the defence.

At least read his message properly and try to understand it before you lash out bro, he was obviously saying he never thought of Heaslip as a dirty player before the incident.

I still think he is a good player/sport.. emotions can run high in these international matches, you do silly things and that was a pretty bad look for him - but life goes on. Hope to see him back soon as he is a valuable player to this Ireland team.

The Pain! Horrible thrashing for Ireland.

We showed a bit of wit in the second half, so fair dues. And Trimble's try should have been given. But same old depressing gulf in quality between NH and SH.

The ABs must win the RWC ... but SA look up for it. Both teams have good new players coming through, so will be very interesting to see which management is smarter. I still give France a chance. Long odds for England.

But...but...if I dont who else will feed these poor Trolls :( they struggle to find work, cant put food on their tables, so charity is their only option... I'll send you a 'lol feed the trollz' badge if you donate a fiver to the cause :D totally worth every penny!

yeah...I couldn't resist getting a reply in :p can't be have you Irish boys getting slandered on this forum! Apart from Heaslip, who is a ***.

I wasn't saying Heaslip is innocent or anything just in all my time following him I think it's 1st time I've seen him in trouble with a ref. He deserved red and suspension no arguement there.

As for game lads I watched highlights again and:
- TMO was right not to give Trimble's try
- Buckley was super and well I think it time he's given a long run in 3 shirt and well Hayes will benefit from rest
- I tried to defend O'Leary in past but only noticed in highlights how bad his passing was like I knew it was bad but it was horrific
- ROG kicked 2 poor penalties but in fairness he did everything else fine given circumstances
- Cronin seemed really nervous and noticed twice he had ball in loose and BOD had to tell him run at All Blacks
- D'Arcy was really good when running hard at them
- Kearney will never play as bad as that again - was worst player except for Heaslip

Also Hook made good point about players welfare tonight and well it is interesting to see how this new touring pattern goes regarding players health

Treading fine lines there pal ... fine lines.

Ireland can take a lot of positives out of that game. They found some new players and found some players who needed a rocket up their asses. Biggest thing for me was how the Irish fought after going down to 14 men. Showed a lot of heart to me.

Gah, expected to lose, but still the first half broke my heart. The "fightback" should be disreguarded as the Ab's made so many changes as left their team disjointed.

Also how big is Whitlock? he's a shagging monster! Looked good, but perhaps lacks a bit of agression?

In my opinion they were still pathetic in this particular game. Don't understand how anyone could be even remotely proud of the Irish's performance, they got hammered. Just shows the difference of expectation though I guess. If the AB's playerd like that and got that hammered they'd be taken out into the car park and shot.

In fairness, Trolls should only be fed with counter-trolling, and yours was quite a good effort. Well done haha :p

No intention of ever defending Heaslip, I have made my opinion on the matter clear but I object to the portrayal of McCaw as an angel.

it was all over in the first half really. Ireland played well in the second but the damage was already done and the abs just rung the changes since they were so far ahead. good to see the abs get off to a good start first up since in recent years they have been quite shakey first test up.

Don't think conceding 5 tries to a 14 man team can be written off as OK because you brought on a few subs. Questions to be asked I reckon.
