Nba 2013/14

Huge game from Durant, despite the 8 TO's....really thought the Thunder were going to win it as I went to sleep with 5 to go in the 4th....fkkk........Clippers dodge that one. Tied series.

P.S.: wtf is up with Ibaka and punching Blake Griffin's dick ?! It's become a thing now...

Indy getting stronger by the day!!! They are again looking like they might push Miami should each get through to the conference finals now.

"should each get through to the conference finals"...??.........n word, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase !!

Yeah yeah I know. I actually think Miami might be up for a bit of a fright. I reckon Brooklyn might win again today and IF they do, with the experience of Pierce KG Williams JJ etc then I think they will believe they can get HCA. It's massive long shot I know, but you never know.

Don't make me track down your quotes about Indy pre the Atlanta series ;)

well that escalated really quickly !! In a good way for Indy I mean...they freakin lost G.1 at home against the WIZARDS....sure they're an improved side and Wall+Beal is "the future of the NBA" and an exciting backcourt and yadi yada, but if we would cut the crap for a second, they're pretty good but taking G.1 in the first seed's house ? that's pretty fkn embarrassing for the slow-Pacers, we're not even at 1/2F level yet...so yeah, and now they're up 3-1...nobody would've bet on the Wizards losing BOTH games at home there...
George finally with a game worthy of his praise.....

I've still got the Heat in 6 in the ECF. Yaself ?

I find it hard to separate emotions when betting is a factor but Ill do my best.

I have been really disappointed in Indy in the last few months and so a few weeks ago I would have said they have NO chance to win the East (Miami in 5 IF indy were to even get there). However, as someone posted a while back (maybe you) every game they win, every series they get though, their confidence returns, the better they get, and they become more and more of a factor again in the East again. I still think they haven't figured out the balance on offence yet and just watching them suggests their is discontent in their team on personal levels (similar to what I witnessed in Houston). At this level of sport if you havent got the team dynamics right, everyone on the same page etc, then it is almost impossible to win.

In short, I'd agree with you, Miami in 6, BUT, the closer we get, the more chance I give Indy to take it.

DISC: I break even on Miami winning the East, make several K if Indy win.

hehehe, well Lebron just had a little bit of fun there I see.

What I think about the Pacers is this: yes they're growing stronger atm, because they couldn't possibly NOT. So chemistry is building slowly, and the confidence is returning, not in heaps, but it is...and they were under so much pressure and heavy criticism they basically HAD to react. Playing the 8th and then 5th seed in THE EAST has been rough enough on them, and they've basically a great chance to make amends. Much easier to return to form against the latter two...
Now, there's that lack of sheer quality about them as I've said before I always knew they had. They had it BIG TIME two years ago, still had it last year, and it's been there in a major way on and off this year. But from the second half of the season til now, they've been in that mode. It's hard to pinpoint what it is, from a sum of individual fails to bad coaching...but when you have a guy like "Allstar" Roy Hibbert and his porcelain confidence, George going on an endless below 40%FG spree and such things...but also the rest of the team struggles to find rhythm offensively, all of a sudden they're some wreck who can defend alright but don't scare too many with their scoring. They become incredibly vulnerable.

Sounds like you don't think they (Indy) deserve the hype they've gotten, particularly some individual players, but must remember they are a good team -ho good is the question that remains to be seen.

Proof is always in the pudding; they made it to the East finals last year (almost winning), they finished with the best record in the East this year, they are on the verge of making the East Finals again (and who knows how far they might go??).

when they play in unison, just that, in rhythm, and Paul George plays like the All-Star he is and 7'2 Roy Hibbert just plays his role of a fairly good technically starting center - they're so deep and have so many good defenders and a good defensive system games just win themselves. Nobody in the East has what they've got, and last year they pushed Miami far while playing well indeed but let's not forget Miami's almost complete lack of size and a true big man inside, and Hibbert STILL didn't get the monster numbers any "All-Star Center" would get. Just imagine what a Patrick Ewing would've done to the Heat throughout 7 games, and I'm not even going to bring up Dream or David Robinson, or God forbid, Shaq (well, I just did...).
They're a pretty good team, but they have the ability to such monumental ass - CONSISTENTLY, and for very large amounts of time. It would've been an absolute travesty, had they lost to the below .500, 8th seeded Atlanta Hawks, and there's no way in Hell 3 out of 4 games should've been that close, incl. losing G.1 at home.

Well they didn't exactly play like a good team tonight. Smashed at home by Washington. What an embarrassment!!

still surprised ? What I refer to as their trademark "shhitiness" is a reality, not a cool trend I carry around. They've got this amazing ability to play like a sub .500 team out of nowhere. Whether during long stretches like 5 games, an entire chunk of the season like 2-3 months. For almost a full playoff series, or within a playoff series between 2 really good games they'll play like the Sixers. It's the Indiana Pacers. They should have their own show...on, like....HBO.

OKC down by 7 points with 49.2 on the clock. Durant hits a 3 with 43.7 left to cut it to 4. Then OKC get a stop and possession with 21.5 left, get a quick 2 to cut it to 2 with 17.8 left. THEN the unthinkable happens and Paul turns it over giving OKC the ball. OKC look to have an easy 3 on 1 to tie it up but Reggie Jackson gets "fouled" on the play, but its a no call, the ball goes out of bounds off Jackson but upon review the refs for some crazy reason (probably cuase they missed the foul) give the ball to OKC, Westbrook takes a rubbish shot for three to try an take the lead, misses BUT gets fouled on the play! Hits all three free throws to give OKC the lead with 6.4 left. Last play of he game, Paul turns it over again, OKC win by 1 105 - 104, OKC go up 3 games to 2!

UN BE LIEVABLE!!

Will post highlights tonight, the end to this game is a must watch if you are an OKC fan!!!

OMG anyone watching the OKC LAC game??

haha, sorry, had to go to sleep, it was 6am here !!...
controversy, vontrocersy, convotresy............this time, it's bad. I'm the first one to want to brush it away when ppl call things "controversial", but I don't know that the Thunder deserved this win here....I appreciate the mega comeback, but the Clippers were still very much there in the last few plays. Yikes. Very sorry for the Clippers...very sorry. No clear way out of this one, it's just pure, sheer ambiguity.

Oh and I might watch the Pacers Wizards game later: wtf was up with Gortat, possessed by some old Pagan Polska God. Always appreciated this guy a lot, very intelligent and underrated. And Hibbert, the 2x All-Star: 4 and 2, way to go buddy, keep it up ! Now the Wizards have a chance to tie this whole bish up and go 7 !!

Thanks God for the new blood in the old Spurs, Danny Green and Leonard are fabulous players just like the spurs need.

ah, back for the June tests I see. And yes, the Spurs look very good this year, but they have the Thunder to face now who are younger, starving, and eliminated S.A. in 2012 when they looked invincible and had won about 20 straight games.

I've rarely ever watched a sports analysis video where I agree on literally every single word, comma, full stop in its entirety like this:
Who wins the East ?

I'm not saying it's going to happen, the Pacers could wake up and beat the Heat in 6 or 7 and shock the world, no issue. But RIGHT NOW, this is me. 100%. They nailed it. I got the Heat in 6, Pacers can't be trusted, only guy I trust is indeed David West, etc...etc...

Without Ibaka? Im not sure OKC can beat SA in 7 now.

The Heat in 5, sorry for Luis Scola, but the Pacers is not the same team of the beggining of season.
