Nba 2013/14

well then yes we do disagree completely. But for my info, what else has he notoriously done or said ?

Anyways, and far more importantly, Blazers Rockets tonight !! If the Blazers actually get this one in Houston, enormous props to them, it would be absolutely magnificent. I'm keeping some hope for it still...

Google search "Donald Sterling racist history", take your pick.

Anyway, as you say, enough said, - Houston Blazers? Looking forward to it and hoping Blazers will win, although I think Houston will at least make this series head back to Portland for game 6.

First things first though, Spurs Mavs in progress :) Mavs already without Blair (suspension) and Dalembert looking a little gimpy still after tweaking his ankle in the first! Expecting SA to make a couple of runs in this game to put this one out of reach for the Mavs.

Yeah not sure how comfortable I am with someone being banned for life and fined due to what they said in a private conversation that was illegally recorded, though Sterling does have a notorious reputation which hasn't brought him much sympathy. It's hard to fell sorry for him indivdually but there is something unsavoury about the whole thing from a different perspective. The whole thing is just odd, why buy an NBA team in the first place if you are racist or date a biracial woman. Very...very bizarre. Bill Maher gave me a chuckle today, I thought it closely reflected my thoughts....

Anyways another good start to this Craptors-Nets game, it's been quite the series.

First time in the whole post season I feel like the days games all went as expected - all three home teams winning! Reasonably comfortable for SA and Houston and a bit tougher win for Toronto (although they were up by 26 I think at one stage).

Gonna make for some good game 6s - expect SA and Port to win in 6 and the Toronto Brooklyn series to go to 7!

Now for tomorrows games, you guys reckon GS @home and Indy and OKC away are gonna be able to extend their series to 7 games? The way Indy are playing Id be surprised. OKC should be able to if they have their heads on right, and to be honest I think the Clippers will win in 6.

agreed Little Guy. And although Lowry really saved the 'Craptors' last night, the latter do seem like they'll be taking the series and Russian multi-millionaire Nets owner will have another monumental failure of a year. I love how he claimed, as soon as he purchased the franchise, "2 years maximum" referring to how long it would take him to win a ***le. You can take that "two years maximum", turn it into a giant gold bar with sharp angles and shove it deep up your a$s-hole mister Russian millionaire, thank you very much.

Blazers lost...not as tight as I'd have expected it. Heading back home for the dagger.
Excellent win from the Spurs, very relieving. Gonna watch the game later, and very glad VC put in a big performance. Yes I agree ABs2011, Por in 6, Tor Bkn to go 7, but I think there's a chance the Spurs might go 7 also although I can guarantee they'll win it. Still not sure about the Tor Bkn winner, but sure it goes 7.

As for the games tonight: I'm pleasantly surprised to announce I was probably wrong as FUKKKKKKK about the ATL IND series. Would adooooore seeing them go down like the bishes they are, no offense to any fans here......but they are bishes...
Couldn't win at home in a must-win, in fact got smashed, what the fk will they conjure in Atlanta ?
I'm afraid this is it for the Thunder, unless Durant has more resolve than we all expected. We now understand last year's outing of OKC by the Grizz was no accident in any stretch of the imagination, and Westb's absence wasn't as meaningful as we'd deemed at the time...the Grizz ARE an OKC repellent, all the while San Antonio are to take care of the Grizz with relative ease. So great news for this fkr right here...

Hoping hard the Clippers overcome the "adversity" of having owner issues, KKK and neo-nazism and what not, and beat the crap out of that pretty petite tramp Steph Curry and her retarded-looking partner in crime "Klay" Thompson.
Wtf is up with that name, "Klay" ? How about I name my future son "Magnesium", ffsssss....

In other news: D'Antoni resigned from the Lakers. Well, what do ya know...shocking stuff.

HUGE wins for Indy and OKC today! Playoffs now looking a little more like we expected.

Gotta love the performance by my boy Steve Adams http://www.sportal.co.nz/nba/adams-steps-up-for-thunder/xhk3pbffk3iu1gd0aa88nhpim

2nd youngest player in NBA playoff history to record 5 blocks, and he did it in 20min off the bench!

I bet you one of those blocks (the one that leads to the Durant breakaway dunk) will earn him "block of the night"!!

So, as much as you hate GS, you have to admit they are fun to watch!

L0oks like another game 7 coming up!! GS up by 7 with 6 to go!

Iguodala came up big time in that 4th Q, wow!

So in summary, how freakin mean has this first round been. 3 games today, 2 away wins and all three results ensuring we go to game 7s.

Memphis and Atlanta must be pretty deflated about now - particularly Atlanta who were up by 5 with not much time to go.

What are the stats on underdogs winning game 7 away from home?? No surprises if Indy crap their beds again, but cant see OKC losing, and hat is the status on Conley? Don't think he returned after the injury which pretty much nmean good night for Memphis if he is done. Particularly if the wonder kid can put in another 20 mins, 5 blocks and **** down Randolph!! :)

Ive had some average playoff days, but todays results were perfect!! :D

the Thunder surviving makes me happy for them and Durant, he's one heck of a guy. Good to see Memphis wasn't even close, and at home, in a supposed "close-out game". My butt cheeks....But it scares me for the rest of the way, for my Spurs in particular. Spurs will get the Blazers and win that in 4 or 7 doesn't make a difference, and then it's the Thunder in the WCF again, and that scares the shhhhhhhit out of me as a Spurs enthusiast. Pure intensity by the Thunder.

I don't find the Broken State Worriers entertaining...I understand ppl like them for that, but I don't like em at all. Iggy with the monster flop of the year on that last "three". Curry and Thompson pretty shhitty games I see from the field, so I'm okay with it. Anyways, Clippers in 7 at home.

2x All-Star Roy Hibbert with another trademark grand masterpiece, 0 points 2 rebs 1 blk. Paul George still making a case for MVP with his 7/18 FG.
So anyways, now it's probably all over for the Hawks.
Pacers would face the Wizards next...and then the Heat.

The Pacers COULD wake up a little later into the playoffs, with every bit of adversity they get tougher and tougher, but right now the Heat have got to be by MIIIIIIIILES the only possible team to win the East.

And yes, this 1st round has been ENORMOUS. One of the best I've ever seen.

Is this first ever time 5 1st round games going to game 7

not sure, but all I can say right now is the Blazers sure didn't need 7 games, woooooooohoooooooooooooo !! Lillard at the buzzer for the series, are you KIDDING ME ?!!!!!!!!!!!
Blazers hadn't won a playoff series in FOURTEEN YEARS.

Have been watching Raptors Nets. That has been fun. Dallas San Antonio been good too

Man, what a killer shot be Lillard. A lot of hearts broken in Houston. I reckon I saw a couple rifts starting to come through in that team; Harden v Howard and the way the coach was using them both - makes me wonder if, after a first round exit, whether things might get changed up there. How long are the two contracted for?

Anyway back to the Blazers, that was amazing. Miss that shot and even though they would have gotten a chance again in Houston, I think that was their season. Worst thing for me is that I didn't get to see the final seconds. I watched the whole game right up until 96-96 and then had to go and pick someone up. In the car I checked the score via the ESPN app - said game over Houston wins 98 to 96! Was pretty gutted cause I thought well that's probably it for Portland. Went home later, chucked on the TV news, came to the sport and they were like, "magic in the NBA tonight, Portland wins on a buzzer beater" I couldn't believe it. SO stoked :)

So now onto a few game 7s. Expect all the home teams to win again tonight!

Steven Adams has helped out Memphis big time with his part in getting Randolph suspended. The kid has a way of getting under players skins. So far this year, from memory, he has gotten Vince Carter and Nate Robinson ejected, and now Randolph suspended. He seems to **** people off, they take a shot at him, and he just carries on nonchalantly as if nothing has happened :) Love the guy! OKC should therefore win that one comfortably even if Conley is back.

Indy should win over Atlanta. The more Indy progress the tougher they will get too. Still could challenge Miami for the East I reckon IF they get past this one of course.

Last game is a bit more of a toss up. IF GS hit their threes they could win. They are a hard team to beat when they are on shooting form and no doubt Curry will try and carry them. In saying that I expect LAC to win.

well although it shouldn't have come to that last play, since when LMA gave Lillard the ball, the latter wasn't out of bounce on that before-last play...and Parsons really did get incredibly lucky on his last basket off random broken play - yes indeed, the Blazers would've been facing a grim Game 7 in Texas.
But...what. A. Shot. By. Lillard. Dear Lord Almighty. Unbelievable.

I'm getting chills, and my eyes water mildly as I watch this. The emotion is huge. Those Blazers, they deserve it so bad.

I don't think an entire descriptive article could really pinpoint how it must've felt for Lillard. Getting the shot off, feeling it's got a chance to go in from experience. Liking the release and trajectory so far. Could it be ? Holy shhit...it's going in, isn't it ? Oh my God......it went in.

He destroyed the entire city of Houston in a split second, literally less than a second. The influence one man can have over hundreds of thousands is overwhelming.

Indy look more themselves now as well - up 47 to 36 at the half.

Not pretty BBall to watch, but they've held the Hawks to 30% shooting and only 13 points in the 2Q. Hibbert got off to a much better start going 4/6 for 9 points 5 boards and 2 blocks and Paul George looking really good with 16 on 6 for 10 shooting.

mmm, so you happy now ?! Pacers are going to struggle the same way against the mighty, virtually invincible Washington Wizards. God have mercy on their souls.
And then, ousted by the Heat again in the next round...

It's aaaall about the West, really...

Yup, happy. Although not at all comfortable the Pacers are even close to being back to where they need to be to challenge for the East.

Yup, all about the west, although I'd love to see an Indy Miami conference final and see Miami go down.

Then see Indy v SA in the finals.

OKC in a bit of poo early v Memphis as well!! Not going to be the walk in the park they might have thought!

I'd love to see Pacers Spurs too. There's no way in hell the Spurs would lose that, so fine by me. Ten times less dangerous than Miami for the Spurs.
I have to be selfish, again, and hope the Grizzlies win tonight although I prefer the Thunder. The Spurs would be relatively safe in the playoffs without the Thunder, the Rockets are out already...Clipps ?? Maybe. And if so, maybe a problem.

Gotta go to bed man. Fkn 4 am here...shieeeeeeeeet

ok where the fk is that guy ??......AB's2011 !!!!! You can thank your dirty fukking countryman there for winning the Thunder the series and putting the Spurs in great peril !! With Z-Bo playing last night, who knows what could've happened...

I'm absolutely glad the Worriers stop their little journey here. It was awesome being the most overhyped team in recent NBA memory, some columnists picking them to actually win it all this year, all the praise of the Splash Brothers and what not, and an infinite amount of showing off, being cute and now, emptiness. Gotta love it. Up your as$ Broken State. You ain't bothering nobody no more...watchin it with a friend in some hours...

EDIT:
Here's what we got right now:

Well the Craptors ended up on the short end of a classic series, well played though. Great action, don't liek the Nets chances that much next round Heat in 5 maybe 6.

Nets are going to suffer next round, I don't care what ppl are saying.
And Tony Parker 32 pts in a Dallas blowout, daaaaamn. Very disappointed the Spurs face the Blazers next, one of my two teams is going to have to lose...
