After seeing the Welcome the team got I wonder if Manu regrets his decision.

Was at the airport last night and if that's the atmosphere Manu Samoa get arriving in the country then I cant wait to be at the stadium for there games.

Manu Tuilagi was there and Alesana was on the stage waving at him. The crowd and atmosphere was electric. Even when the team bus left cars were following them back to there hotel tooting and people screaming.

Bring on the world cup!!

Seen the footage of the atmosphere and it looked incredible. Looks like we definitely have had the best welcome into New Zealand of all the teams so far which I guess is hardly surprising. Cant wait for the Manu to get their campaign underway....LETS GO BLUE !!!!

Good luck to the Manu... Before they left Here in Samoa, they had a farewell parade around town before going straight to the Airport Faleolo.

The Roads were packed with people saying goodbye. If Only the IRB had brought a camera crew to see the Manu Samoa farewell..

But here in Samoa some hubbub being raised by the 200K hotel bill the Manu Samoa team racked up here.

People not really concerned about how much it cost, BUT rather the fact that the owner of the hotel they were staying at is also a Member of the SRU board... Conflict of interest anyone.. Had to feel sorry for Schuster having to front the media and give some pretty bogus explanations for the bill and how THERE IS NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

Send the bill to the Government ha ha! Bills can wait.. It's time for Manu Samoa to do the business. The support here is overwhelming and the looks on the players faces when they walked out from the airport exit - priceless!! A big boost for the boys and well done to Samoans in Auckland getting out there to support them. Ticket sales to Samoan games are close to being sold out and will be come game times.

The excitement is building and if that's the noise that 2000 fans can make at Auckland Airport then theres going to be a thunderous reception when at least 30,000 Manu Samoa fans rock it up to Eden Park.

GO THE MANU....Samoa, this is as good as its gonna get in terms of a home ground advantage for a rugby world cup. I'm excited by the squad. I believe they possess an intimidating loose forward trio especially Fa'asavalu and Stowers....they have direction with Khan Fotuali'i (who could have easily made the All Blacks) and talent to burn in the backs with a world class leader in Seilala Mapusua and giant winger Tuilagi. I hope Samoa qualify and meet the wallabies at the quarter final stage...oh robbie won't like that...
