LV= Cup 14/15 General Thread

We're 13-6 up away at Scarlets with a pretty young side Fenby with the only try from a break by the very young and lively Tom Fowlie.

Welsh winning at the moment. Surely not?
Nope. 15-20 to Saracens F/T.
Huge comeback from Cardiff at Ricoh. Newport lost to Exeter at home, second half tries giving the hosts a losing bonus point and try bonus point.

Our lot got minced by Falcons 1st XV 39-19

With the Cardiff result we were out of the LV= anywho, and we didn't have any 1st teamers in the side (well, other than Taylor who is just back from injury, and Hines as an unused replacement) so no biggy.

Not best result but agreed we had weaker side playing and result didn't matter either, roll on premiership action kicking off again on 15th !

Home to Scarlets today in final round of LV Cup action for us, it would be nice to get a win but not that important when already out, roll on next week and trip to London Welsh in league !

We've put out our first choice side (minus injuries), Scarlets have put out 2nds/3rds/academy/semi-pro loans - if we don't win by 25+ then we need a look at ourselves...

We just need to get 1 point from this game to go through. Thacker @ 7 again, Like the look of the team the two ***ans impressed last week (Roberts and Pearce) as well as Catchpole and De Cheves.

Leicester beat Cardiff 43 - 9 Leicester scoring 6 tries!!!!!!!!!!!!

Catchpole and Roberts the main playmakers @ 12 and 13.

Easy win for us as was expected !, handy for return to league action next weekend.

After the Lord Mayor's show yesterday we are back to the manure that is Saracens's scrum for a penalty and territorial based game!!

Maybe successful but it has turned this viewer off!!

Terrible first half but this second has been great!

That run from James was superb!

Glad that Sarries held on to win that- wouldn't normally support them over Chiefs, but appreciate the effort to play young guys.
I hope Spencer can kick on from this and fight for a starting spot in the ap team, he looked the goods today.
