[June Tests 2018: 2nd Test] South Africa vs. England (16/06/2018)

Ford had looked slow all game. Yes he can throw a good pass but he can't run with all in hand and everyone in the world now knows it. At least Cips bing some of the unknown and is clearly faster and more dangerous

Attack isn't the issue though.

Cips might have put some speed on it but still = Fek all, why becuase we lack the forwards to do anything once a tackle hasn't happened.

Attacking fundamentals good.

Discipline, leadership and general tactical awareness; genuinely awful.

Well done SH. Very well played. Took their chances and look much more like the team they once were.

England bad,
South Africa good.

Can't think of any positives for England (looked decent enough when given good ball and attacking early on, but that's like way down the list of things you need - the ball being one of them)

South African pack look like the days of old. Vermeulan an absolute beast.
Great to see Faf lighting it up on the international stage

And you do know there is a massive difference between building a squad for 7 years 12 months a year and getting them what 4 months a year.......

What point are you even trying to make apart from being contrary as usual? Yes it's different managing a national side, does that take away the credentials of a prospective england coach altogether? Of course it doesn't.

Quite frankly there's a massive lack of game management, the best 10 in England is Owen Farrell ******* play him there and buy Barrett a plane ticket now and get some ******* grunt back in the centres..
Agree; Barritt's a short term option but realistically that's the best that we can hope for ATM; he can get us through to the World Cup. Farrell 10, Barritt 12, Loz 13, Cips 22 and Ford working in a McDonalds somewhere.

Which won't solve the problem because our issue is every game our forwards are being bullied off the park, giving away penalties, missing tackles and know sweet **** all about the breakdown. Looking at changes in the backs to deal with problems with our forwards will achieve nothing.

Really failing to see your point? By that argument no Prem coach should ever then be allowed to handle the England team. He's done a better job of it than any Prem/Championship coach, ever. Just seems like you're being aggressively anti-Chiefs as per.

Yes it does.

He showed v Sarries he lacks a plan B.
With time he will learn but he isn't no where ready and IMO if he wants a international job could do with looking at getting coaching experience elsewhere.

But no doubt you're someone who can't differentiate between prem level and International level.

Barritt's aggression and ability to get front foot ball would certainly help the forwards.

Lets start with finding some monstrous props who can scrummage. Clue that's not Mako and Sinckler. Never has been, never will be.

And then a couple of proper sized, fit, locks.

George has fluffed his auditions for me. Head permitting Dylan's coming back.
