Italy v England

Are the Irish who say that English are very loudmouthed?I know the Irish won last grand slam but...

Page 3 of this thread should go into some sort of HOF for worst online moments.

That was really dire.

Rule one of international sport discussion on the internet:

"Once an international team wins anything at any sport, the internets forums will suddenly be oozing with that country's natives reminding everyone else how they won whatever it was. Normally without any trace of intelligence or humour."

Case points; Welsh an Irish in the latter half of the 2000s, the English in the 1st half. The Kiwis and South Africans throughout the whole decade.

On the plus side, England's disappointing form over the last 5 years or so has kept the quality of Anglo poster quite high.

Getting pretty pumped for this game. Really want to see England showing some forward dominance and that backrow playing like it did last week. This game will decide the direction of England's championship. If they win convincingly they might just be able to take advantage of a dip in the Irish confidence after today's game.
Looking forward to Hartley and Cole stamping some authority over their respective shirts, even if it does mean some Bath lads missing out.

I'm excited about this, can't wait to see Flutey/Tait at centre
Though i'm probably going to have to watch it on iPlayer, bloody valentines day ( :p )
Last year i missed the England/Wales game because of it, they should start the 6N a week earlier, and have the rest weekend this weekend

You MISSED the game because of Valentine's Day?!!
I was alright, I finished with my girlfriend the week before so I was fine! :p We're back together now, but atleast I got to see the match! WINNER xD

And you didn't have to get her anything for valentines, it's a win win situation :p

I'm excited because in theory England should dominate up front and use our class and pace from the backline and really open Italy up.

However, everything coming from the England camp is pointing towards a bullying, tight gameplan. Which means I can see England playing for territory and JW to keep the scoreboard ticking over. Which will be a more surefire way of winning the game, but will also keep Italy in it for longer and be less exciting, and won't let us learn anything from it.

That is me down to a t. Took the girlfriend to Bologna a week or two ago on a romantic weekend away. It had nothing to do with the fact that Saracens were playing Rovigo just up the road of course. Not at all!

As for the game, I don't care how we win it so long as we win. 0-3 or 29-30. Ten penalties or ten penalty tries. Don't give a toss.

Or make women realise that Rugby Internationals are more important than they are.

Funnily enough, i'm not seeing my girlfriend until after the match now, so i'm sorted :p

Apparently there's been a load of snow in Italy over the weekend/they've been training in like a foot of the stuff.

My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday during the first half of the Wales-Scotland game.

Needless to say, the second half did a bit to cheer me up. :)

The italian national anthem is funny[/b]

Thought I was the only one thinking that. It's the intro that always sounds funny to me. I feel like im in a circus.
