I have the game! ppl

Alright well could you describe your problem better? What exactly happens when you go to change the resolution it crashes or it just simply isnt selectable from the System Options? When I say your hardware could be at fault it could also be your monitor is it a TFT/LCD or CRT? It could be a driver upgrade is required? I dont know at this point mate..

Tokomoe! Thank you

Very kind - hard to read but awesome! hehe...

Is that 95 isee for Howlett!!!!!

In the context of the speeds seen so far that is f%$#ing quick!

Rathbone 80 is that? Ow!

cheers for that bro.[/b]

Yeah sorry I saved em as a gif and the picture got a little blurry i know
<

and Rathbone was 84 btw and your very welcome
<

howlett stronger than muliaina howlett is strong but iunno im not happy with the speed they give muliaina and rico gear 85 and 80.

and mehrtens isnt the starter for the crusaders lol off topic i really want him to play against the lions this yr hope he has a great super 12

can any one explain how to use mirc like is it like kazaa or something cause i would like to d/l other stuff like basketball matches and rugby matches some of my friends d/l whole basketball matches but wont explain how to use mirc cause they say its to complicated.

whats with *REMOVED* to why cant i d/l *REMOVED*.

*REMOVED* is much more easy but slower

im trying IRC for the 1st time........and the last

Just remember that as good as mirc is it can also be a haven for trojans and viruses to lerk onto your computer so I'd be pretty careful about any files you download off mirc if your not experienced with it and dont know what your doing, also the large files on mirc can be corrupted pretty easily too so its not something i would consider doing unless you've got a very healthy connection speed. Plus its pirating

Trust me the money, is worth it!

basically in the game the only options are 640x480 and 800x600 :/

Newest video card drivers.. newest direct x drivers.. newest everything :/

and the monitor is a tft... with a native resolution of 1280x1024 ...

I think perhaps you have to set resolution/graphics settings before launching the game. Maybe open up the EA sports folder and have a look if there is any setup thingy.

A 9800 pro should be easily achieving 1280x1024

Have a flick through the manual and see what it says the options are available.

there is no setup thing

not even a config file

Sorry to hear that mate, i doubt EA would limit the resolution to 800 x 600 though. And its not like you have a bad vid card..

And that is why you must use a console.....come on fellaz...

sports games are meant to be big and nasty - fork out 80 dollars for a secondhand playstation 2 (xbox controllers are rubbish and doesn't feel as good - the games - either) and crank it on the big screen.

Keep your PC and your games separate. The whole looks better rubbish is silly for two good reasons (tho many more besides):

1. you can't increase the resolution anyway.

2. A bigger, wider picture IS a better picture - it's all semantics.

Do yourselves a favour - peace!

It's all down to personal preferance mate... I prefer my PC, but it's a VERY good PC with a 19" LCD moniter to help the gaming process even more
<
. There's no way I'd get a game on console that was also available on PC, the PC just offers SO much more!
But hey, thats me. If you think the console is more fun to play it on, then go for it!:D

Rugby 2005 has pass buttons on the front of the Xbox controller and is totally ruined as a result....

you can start crying now.

sorry mate, but PS2 is just better set up - a small graphical tweak will never outweigh gameplay. Xbox never feels right.
