Heineken Champions Cup - Round of 16 (2nd Leg)

Would have been nice to make a game of it but that's embarrassingly bad.

Sorry to anyone watching but we're almost bottom of the league for a reason. The only upside is that we aren't Barf. :p

Beauty of a try but that's a mile forward

Saves our bacon cause that was either a yellow or a try, or both

Old school get-the-ball-in-quick-to-hide-the-early-shove

Saints used to do it in their prime, just go all out and hope the 9 gets the ball in before the penalty

Didn't even make contact with the head, it was just a seatbelt

Joyce crying to the assistant doesn't do much for the hardman persona he tries so hard to cultivate

Edit: Why they looking at Schonert? You're allowed to lead with the shoulder if you wrap, which he does

Schonert was fully legal what the hell are they on about - he wrapped both arms and it wasn't high

Absolute joke of a card

Guess the big eared boys in the crowd have started to have an effect on the ref

It wasn't, arm tucked. Bit unlucky IMO but it was a no arms tackle.
You're allowed to make contact with the shoulder first if you wrap both arms after, which he did
It's how Farrell's been getting away with murder his whole career - bad optics but technically legal

Bristol should be forced to play behind closed doors - where's FIFA when you need them

yellow.

Honestly not sure on the mitigation though he was always going upright basically. LIke at best he would've hit him top of the chest.
