Champions Cup 24/25 - Round 2

Odds on calls coming Bristol way in last 10 to even things up?

*Edit*

Good job I'm not into betting.

Let time do its work, you will eventually forget and become happy again. šŸ˜‚
Great Job La Rochelle.
I think LAR did enough in the last 10 to win but the contest was spoilt from my perspective. Don't mind losing to the better team which I think LAR were, but it's hard to argue that Bristol were given a fair shake. Speaking of fair shake, keep laughing mate and you might fall off that high horse.

Good luck for rest of tourney.

We'll get em in January in their house, no trouble.

We will take care of you in January and obviously your level has dropped significantly compared to previous years.
I think to be fair La Rochelle level has dropped massively too. I don't even have them as a contender for this competition. Leinster were pencilled in for 5 points there from outset

Are SA teams good for the comp?
No in so many ways.

Hard to see it as anything other than part of a bigger plan to get SA in the 6N. And if that happens I'll give up on rugby and watch netball.

Less the European Champions Cup and more the 'Random Geographical Cup for Any Team That Wasn't Relegated or Went Insolvent". Object lesson in how to screw up something that was working perfectly well.

Blimey, that's some score in the Quins game
Well, it was definitely a second string Stormers side continuing the theme of the SA sides not bothering for away games, but from a Quins POV it was a good training run.

Definitely a second string team, but not truly out of choice. Stormers have a pretty decent first team, but practically no depth. The last of our big known names got injured last weekend, the rest have been injured prior to this. We are meant to have a front row of Malherbe Dweba and Kitshoffā€¦ meanwhile in realityā€¦

Our season in all competitions is practically over already. The best we can hope for is we discover some young players who step up well. But I think we would be lucky to finish top 10 in the URC and will likely be last in the SA log.
