Priestland's always been a good player, just that he never really got an extended run in the 10 shirt to get better because of Stephen Jones - he was always moved from 15 to 10 to 15 etc.

Getting an extended run for Scarlets at the end of last season has done him wonders, he's come on immensely - going to be an immense battle between him and Sexton for the Lions!

Scarlets doing really well, Northampton, scrums aside, have not been very good. Far too many dropped passes leading to Scarlets pressure.

Mallinder built his team with a front three and a back three with nothing in between, it worked last year extremely well but now Foden, their best back three player is gone and it has really affected their attack.

Gotta say though (before Mite does ) Fitzgibbon has missed numerous infringements, few offside at kicks, forward passes. The scond try being a key example

I've only been dipping in and out of the game as I got back from training about 20mins in and I had to shower and eat etc.

First was when Gareth Davies made a break from a scrum on the Saints 22. Liam Davies kicked it through and went on it over the line.
Second was from a kickoff, Scarlets knocked it on and Shingler ran it in from an offside position.
Third happened when Pisi spilled a highball and it was picked up by GEORGE NORTH, who passed to Davies and then on to Gilbert to run it in.

First try they pulled players out of position at a scrum to cover North and the SH (Roberts I think not sure) went around the other way and offloaded it it hit Downey hit the floor and Williams was through.
Second try was off a kick off and even though Scrlets were offside and there was a knock on they should have covered Shingler but he was around Ashton and in.
Third try Priestland sent up a high ball Pisi dropped it forward on his own five even though he had loads of time, North picked up Ofloaded to Davied who Offloaded to Gilbert and he just had to fall over the line.

Really don't like that card. In my view that ball was out, Edwards came from the back so for me Fitzgibbon has got that wrong.

Doesn't matter now, game killed off as the Turks score directly from another Saints balls up.

Great try - Thought Priestland was going to be outpaced, was it North who came haring up to kick it on? Well fast
