Habana or Rokokoko

Between Habana and Rokocoko, I think, Bryan Habana is the great, and And even I think that he is the best winger of the world.

Habana is faster in straight line as he's the supposed 'fastest man in world rugby' although he did get gassed by an unknown american, who's done surprisely well for himself in france since, but i swear Rokocoko can run faster when side stepping than he does going forward. for that reason alone i prefer Rokocoko, so i'd go for him on my wing.

fixed.

I think Rokocoko is an awesome winger, I just like Habana more for the way he attacks and defends so well especially in the last year. He's not only becoming a sort of "king of the intercept" but he's one of the most elusive runners I've ever seen on the wing, he can duck and dive and scramble his way out of some pretty hairy situations.

This is fo the technical guys - Habana is unofficialy the fastest player ever to step onto a Rugby field - he can run 100 metres in 10.4 seconds - and if he really wanted to he could challenge for the world record of 9.73 [/b]

heh, there's a huge f***ing difference between 10.4 and 9.73 seconds. Any self-respecting Olympic sprinter can do it under 10 flat with his eyes closed. I have no doubt Habana is fast, I've seen it too. But to go from rugby player to sprinter at this point in his life, not the easiest thing to do.

As for best winger, I'd like to mention the fact that a lot of people are putting emphasis on try count. True, wingers score, that's what they're best at doing. So let's look at that for a second, roughly the same strike rate between the two players, yet when Rokocoko scores, he scores big against important teams. Habana is fast, but Rokocoko is shifty, and somehow seems to deliver against big nations. Scoring four tries against Samoa may not be easy, but you can be sure scoring three against England is a lot harder. Both are quality players, and in a World XV I would have one on each wing, but truth is Rokocoko, regardless of current form, has proven himself to be a more vital attacking weapon. On defense, I'd have to say I've seen Rocks play a lot more often, but he seems to make a lot more clutch tackles, whereas Habana has some big hits, but I've never seen stellar defense from him. R-unit is brilliant kick-chaser, sure to pressure the receiver of the high ball and bring him down even if he's not there to catch it himself. So bottom line: Rokocoko still gets a convincingly higher grade, but not by too much.

Jason Robinson.

But between the 2, Rokocoko gets the nod on my team, but I wouldn't mind either of them...

why not?

because currently they are arguably the two best wingers in world rugby?

Yes but i was wondering why you pick Robinson over "the two best winger" in rugby?

Habana is the beter player. What about Rupeni Caucaunibuca of Fiji? He is very fast and are a beast. I think he is the best winger in the world, he plays for Agen in France. :p

Habana is the faster winger on 100m, but what about that winger that is born in Zimbabwe? He won a race against Habana in the World cup.

HABANA FOR PRESIDENT@!!!!!

because of the dynamic he brings to the game. Never have i seen a player accelerate, or change direction as fast as he. In addition he was an eccelent tackler, kick chaser, even kicker when he needed to be. In my opinion he brings a more complete game than both habana and rokocoko, with just as much pace.

Ok, but for me Robinson is a long way behind those two. Thanks for explaining :)
