Habana or Rokokoko

<div class='quotemain'>
Yeah, but can they bench 160kg like Habana can? There's a difference, those sprinters have very lean muscle. Habana has bulk...

Does this answer your question?

In all honesty, no i don't think he looks like he can bench 160kg.
But then again, i didn't think Habana could so it just goes to show how very little can be told from a picture.

Benching 300lbs-400lbs is also quite an accomplishment. Even if you look at women's powerlifting you will find that there has only been 9 women in the world in the history of human kind who have officially bench pressed 300lbs in a powerlifting meet. So, we still have to respect some of the athletes and stars who are 300+ benchers too. One very strong athlete that might surprise some people are the Olympic Sprinters. In particular Maurice Green who was a former World Record Holder in the 100-meter dash was very strong on the bench press. Maurice Green has bench pressed 365. Although that might surprise many it doesn't really surprise me. Sprinters are fast and explosive athletes, the Olympic Committee had to tell the world about Maurice's 365lbs bench press because many heavy weight football players don't even bench that much and here Maurice Green is benching 365lbs and he's a runner! That's more weight than what the Undertaker who isn't built for benching from the WWE benches. So, Maurice Green's 365lbs bench is impressive.

Quite surprisingly Habana benches 10kgs less then the "ROCK"

I heard cullen could bench 180 kgs i dont know if this is true thogh
[/b]

Yeah i was going to mention that also but didnt know if i remember that correctly... Now that you mentioned it i remebered Cully did at the Hurricanes camp, and along with the Samoan winger with the flat top hair style cant remember his name who could also bench around the same mark

Yeah that's right, he benched more than anyone else in the All Blacks during his era. Wouldn't think it would you.

Yea that surprised me. In his era there was pretty much the fat forwards and the skiny backs so kudos to Cullen. I read Sheridan can do 220kg? i think thats about right.

But now to put my head among the pidgeons this sounds ridiculous but i definetely read on bbc/sport that Lomu was benchpressing 370 kg. Surely impossible i know but it was in the article whats more this was happening just a couple of months ago.

You honestly didnt believe that did you...

Last time I checked, but this was quite a while back, the world record for a single bench press was around the 330kg mark, set by one of those "strong man" competitors. You know, them train and plain-pulling blokes.

But I could definately believe Lomu currently benching 370lbs, or rougly 170kg.

Apologies it would be 370 Lbs :wall:

Although Lomu is a bit on the chunky side these days, i would go as far to say he could life perhaps 220-230 in his prime?

He benches more now then he did in his prime apparently

yup he also said he squats more as well.. around the 370kg mark.. legend
[/b]

Ok thats it there, he was squatting 370kgs is what i read.

there are two big differences between the two. That is that one plays for the boks the other for the all blocks. the other difference is that one of them has won a world cup. [/b]

Jonah Lomu never won a RWC, but he will always be remembered as the greatest. Not David Campese.

Habana was born 12th June, 1983.
Rokocoko was born 6th June, 1983.

Rokocoko has 43 tries from 48 matches.
Not so sure about Habana's stats.

more importantly who is that babe DarkManX [/b]

You should get a backhand for asking that stupid question. Its Jessica Alba you fool, ask another question like that i will neg rep you.

Sheridan can bench 225kg.

Squatting 370 is damn good aaaaaand i the world record for benching is like 450kgss...... no its 470:

[/b]

Is that the same Sheridan that got chewed up by the All Black props when he came over with the lions?

Matt Dunnings can bench 185kg..not that anyone cares.

I'd pick Habana any day of the week. Rokocoko wasn't even a certain starter this world cup. Any team would want Habana on there wing, hes so dangerous in attack and just as lethal in defense. I loved his hit against Sackey in the final, Sackey wasn't seen for the rest of the night.

I reckon the best European winger is Shane Williams. He is a bloody good winger for his size. His skill level is amazing and his pace.. I love watching him play, shame hes in a shoddy team.

[/b][/quote] Yep also the same Sheridan that got subbed off on the Grand Slam tour because Hayman was schooling him :)

But I'd pick either 1 Habana or Rokocoko doubt that any team wouldn't want to have either of them on their side.
