Game of Thrones

Same, I just downloaded the episode (I don't have Sky, so I download them every week anyway).

Started watching this day before yesterday, and watched the first season and the first two episodes of the second season. Great show, really enjoying it. I think it's yet to really really going, with the war yet to come, so I'm expecting this to get better and better, but it's been nice to see the character development up until now. Gotta wait a week between episodes now :(

Just finished the first book. Very gripping. Annoyingly for me I picked up a dance with dragons in a shop and read the blurb. So the imp kills his father hope it doesn't ruin too much. Also please tell me not every Stark has something horrible happen to them.

Reading the blurb was such a bad idea, such spoilers

I didn't realise it was the 5th it was beside the 1rst in a Geman shop.

I'm a rediculously slow reader. I started reading about two and a half weeks ago I'm now at pg 550 or so. At this stage I'll be lucky to have finished the books before they've all been made into series.

Bloody hell that's slow. I started last Tuesday and haven't had much time because it's rude to spend too much time reading when toue on exchange.

Your spelling is also dreadful.

My guess is that, knowing cmac's attraction small men, he's been jerking himself off every time Tyrion appears, explaining a) how slowly hes reading it and b) his poor spelling due to typing one handed.

Too far?

Not very impressed with the newest episode - Changed a load from the book, which again I understand why, but I'm gutted they cut down all the Yoren stuff/battle/'Arry, Gendry and Hot Pie on the run.
Also, why did they change Renly to being gay? Doesn't make sense to do it, and it seems really tacked on. Thought the same in season 1.

Interesting bit of information for you all, today Jack Gleeson, the guy who plays Joffrey, became a Trinity scholar. Fair dues to him. I don't know where he finds the time.

Renly is gay in the books?

Maybe I've just missed it then
Or maybe it's yet to come. I know him and Loras are like very friendly, but not as far as it is in the show.

Where is the cheapest place to purchase the whole series of the books?

Best bet is buying them individually off of Amazong - they're about £3.50 each on there, whereas you pay about £30 for a set of 5

Olyy, its never stated explicitly, but there's some very strong evidence to suggest they are in terms of what other characters say about them, and Martin himself has said he thought ht made it more obvious than it is.
