France v Argentina - 22/11/2024 (20.10)

Mental that a ref won't give a penalty at least when his reasoning is "he was on his knees".

Really dislike Pearce as a ref in general.
I think Pearce was correct there the TMO is famously French he should not be tempted and follow his gut

I think there was a very high tackle on Petti a while ago
I think we're being frenched by the french tv

Think France look to have just a bit too much here. Feels like they'll get a purple patch and put a bit of a cushion on it.

that's a stupid thing to do

lot of thinking to do on Argentina's part
some of those kicks were just idiotic

France are so good. Dupont hasn't even been Duponting the last two weeks and they look like the best team of the period.

Reckon them and SA will be the teams to beat for a decade or so minimum. Rugby only getting more popular in both countries too.

Why on earth would he do that? He is slower, granted, but he is taller and was closer to the ball. If he attempts to catch the ball chances are he stops bailey from catching it anyway, albeit without infringement. Or a knock on.
Split second call tho, i get it. Mistakes happen. This was an expensive one, tho.

That second try should never have been, poor refereeing.

France were constantly coming in from the side in at least three rucks previous to the try which that myopic idiot Pearce missed, especially visible and obvious from the overhead shots which the equally myopic tmo should have picked up.
