For talking rot.

P.s. I finished Uni today :D

I don't know why you're so happy. No longer are you a tax-funded dosser with few responsibilities. You're now a guy looking for a job in a recession.

If it wasn't for the fee increases I'd tell you to get on a Masters asap.

You wish!
I'm sodding off to Thailand in November

I seriously hated my degree though, and couldn't imagine doing a masters in the same field. Getting a job is going to suck Major Balls though, however it's going to be a while before I'm looking for a serious one, and I've had enough crappy jobs (literally, in the case of working on a dairy farm for a summer!) to get on with anything to earn a bit of cash over the summer, and then by then I'll have a TEFL certificate and will be bumming around the world teaching English and never growing up.

Well that's one way of dodging the bullet. I envy you; if I wasn't incredibly awkward in the company of strangers, I'd have done the same thing.

What was your degree in?

What's your degree in Olyy? I knwo **** all about biology, having successfully avoided it since the age of 15.

In college I took a class from a professor who changed my whole life. I can't really remember what his name was, or what the class was, or even which college it was, but I found that if you sit behind a really tall guy and kind of slouch down in your chair you can drink Scotch right from the bottle and not get caught.

Environmental Biology (did two years of Zoology before switching).
It's more my Uni's modules within the degree than the degree itself - they really focus on genetics and biochemistry which are two things I hate (and they conveniently leave out of the prospectus and the module descriptors).

Only way I'll actually use my degree is if I become a biology teacher (something I've considered in passing, but not that much) - there's no work in biology fields unless you have a masters (minimum) or PhD (sometimes more than one), and to be honest I don't think I'd want to go that way anyway.

In my experience most people who do a degree don't in to that field anyway: My brother did Physics and very nearly went on to do a masters as well, but instead took a job working in some sort of computer business and is now head web developer for the Caterham F1 team

If it's green or wriggles, it's biology.
If it stinks, it's chemistry.
If it doesn't work, it's physics...

I started packing today ready to start ferrying all my crap back home and I discovered something.........I really hate packing.

The heat is hitting Southern Ontario already, 32.4 C with 41% humidity today on my thermometer, ugggghhhhh. Too early in the year for this crap.

20 degrees plus today , I spent it recovering from yestereve sunning myself by the UCD lake where a large swan had a go at me

I had a Canadian Goose come at me a while ago on the farm, stupid thing wouldn't leave me alone, maybe I went too close to it's nest.

Similar to what happened to this poor sod.....

I would have hit that bird an unmerciful punt in the breasts.

The Swan was all puffing it's wings out at me and hissing , It backed down when I began to hiss back.... Only realized how strange it would have looked to passer byes later.
