Heaslip thinks he's a scrum half as well.

Did anyone see heaslip collect the Lions jersey from Geech? his jeans were below his arse you could see his pants and but cheek crack

Great we have 3 wingers a scrum half and an utter cad in the pack.

No don't agree and there's clearly a reason he's been chosen to do the work ahead of them (though part of that is them being more powerful carriers, whereas Heaslip relies more on his feet) he's a very effective rucker with excellent technique. His clearout's are generally exceptional and it's a really underrated part of his game.

The reason is that Declan Kidney is, as common parlance puts it, afflicted with really severe f**king learning difficulties. The list of really arse to face things he's done stretches out like a sperm whale's hard on and turning one of the best ball-carrying 8s of his generation into a water carrier is one of them. Heaslip's not bad at it, and he's done a lot of it, but he's not great and I'd agree with duck that Fez and SOB are both better at it. He's not being picked tomorrow because of his excellent rucking technique. He'll do his share of the dirty work, particularly in defence, but it will be up to the front five and the flankers to to secure the ball by and large - which is how it should be.

If thats what becoming a pilot entails then bring on the Jumbo

That's what they're saying.

Folau not good on defence ??? How did you come to that finding ???

Folau played 90 top level rugby league games for two of the best sides - Melbourne Storm and then the Brisbane Bronos. He then went on to play 7 internationals for the Kangaroos. Leaguies can tackle, the backs do a lot on 1:1 work. He has been playing fullback for the Waratahs and after the first few games, slotted in well in his positional play. I don't think he is weak defensive link at all - and he will have Barnes alongside him at fullback ( another ex-Bronco and fellow Waratah) to direct the positional play.

I hope they do attack down Folaus side - he is just as solid as Ioane in 1:1 and one of the best under high ball

Hey, I have to Folau in my Fantasy Team:

He's very good attacking but I'm not sure if he's as solid in defense as in attack I still doubt. To me he's a great player.

What do you think about the absence of Quade Cooper?

Regards

People are criticising forwards for scoring tries?!?!That's just weirdForgive me, but isn't the point of rugby to score tries? Scoring tries is a good thing.Would people prefer that modern forwards have "hands like feet" like they did back in the day?Who remembers Ben Kay dropping the ball with the tryline begging in the 2003 RWC final?
