EOYT: France v Australia, 10/11/2012

The penalty try was quite unique and unseen.

The Australian looshead had already collapsed but the French prop Debaty (altough he might be from Belgium) litterally picked him up, lifted him from ground and pushed him all the way back to the tryline.

First time I see a collapsed scrum being lifted that way by their opponent.

yeah I saw that, it was actually quite confusing to watch, didn't quite understand what was goin on there...what with all the players in there.
Yeah he's Belgian-French...

A vaincre sans peine on triomphe sans gloire: Winning without an effort, we triumph without glory. I am very happy to find a new french team. Imaginativ, strong, disciplined, courageous; Rugby "champagne" as we say in France.Latin combinaison against the anglo-saxon pragmatism. For once it's work and not just because Michalak . It's not so often to be a little proud of this very attractiv game against the second best team in the world:Australia. May be the Wallaby ware not at the top, tired by the jet lag or thing like that. In France we are very respectful and admirativ for this walaby team. Have no regret, I hope the players enjoyed their trip in France where they are always welcomed. You will have your revenge. Bonjour to all australian people from Sydney to Canberra. and good luck for the rest of the competition. The few acts of villeny are forgotten. Violence are not a good councillor, it a sign of resignation. So Bye and at the next time in Australia....It wil be different.

Well done france! BUT Bosch & Amorosino are back in Pumas squad 4 France - Argentina match...TUÉ

Great job by France. In the last 10-15 they just kept kicking away knowing the Aussies were no real threat. The Wallabies still look to have no team attack pattern/structure. It looks like a social squad out there, just with the scrumhalf throwing one way and the receiver looking surprised and not knowing where to run. The attack is pathetic, no other way to describe it. Berrick Barnes still kicks aimlessly at times and gives away possession for no reason and too easily. France dominated the scrum, dominated the breakdown, dominated the play. France put a job on the Wallabies, played great in front of a great crowd. Was awesome to hear the crowd singing La Marseillaise during the last few minutes.

With this result, the odds of Australia ending up outside of the top four on the IRB rankings have dramatically shortened.

Nothing can be taken for granted at this time, except that AB and almost certainly SA will remain in the top four, the other two are unknwon but could be chosen (pending a quick simulation) among SA, France, England, OZ, Argentina (long shot) and maybe Wales (longer shot).
A computer simuation is needed to evaluate all possible scenarii, SA is probably safe thanks to their win against Ireland.

France, oui meilleur! Australia is still a good rugby team cause in 2012 they got at least a draw against "the perfect team" (irb ranking it´s ok for me)

^ mmmm hmm...we'll see what you guys got next week. Would be HUGE for you to beat France. That would be a strong showing in TRC, despite no victory (I don't care at all, very strong showing regardless on many levels and occasions) followed by beating the European champs and then France ON THE ROAD. Then ya got Ireland...never won there, you guys.

And yep. We just beat the crap out of the team that just tied with the AB's (still a Wallaby fan, don't hate me aussies !).

The biggest part that France brought was their breakdowns. Had full control of that area and that was huge for them. Scrum has always been a problem for Wallabies and we will see if they can fix it. France number 8 was great, had a perfect balance of on and off the ball plays

With Sebastien Vahaamahina getting his first cap, my question is: where are all the French Polynesian rugby players? The French like rugby, the Pacific Islands likes rugby, but teams like Tahiti and New Caledonia are not very good, and you don't really hear of their players in the Top 14 much.

Tolofoa has been capped, Taofifenua was in the squad I believe.

Gracias Puma. But we are scared about you. Your game are so improving and you beat us twice. Sacre Argentin!! I hope we will able that what happened in Paris was not just an accident like we are able to do it. Your play against the Wales show how mature the Pumas are. Well done. So good luck mate et que le meilleur gagne.

I liked Argentina, especially in the second half of that game in Wales. But Wales were very disappointing...

But as shown here, we have a scrum, we've got fast wingers, great play making and a pivotal excellent no.8. We have plenty of kickers...but we're never too sure now are we ?! :D

I said Pumas by 1 against Wales... but now I have a bad feeling against France: Les Bleus by 5

thx for bringin that up...yeah, not surprised, a very commited, highly capable defendah...
(P.S. that signature is fkn hilarious !)

We lost all our play against you. You make me scare too but if we play like this no one no: exciting to watch on both side. Hope France will win and the will nice but good luck to the Puma.
