England vs Canada - 10/07/21

Moon isn't an automatic starter for Saints. What makes you think he's a test quality lock?

Yeah, i know im biased, but the lad is a class act. He has crazy pace, but you should see tomorrow....he is as strong as an ox, and fearless. he'll hit rucks to get turnovers, tackle his heart out and now...hes learning when to hog the wing, and when to come in looking for the ball.
I hope he gets to show what he can do.

Hes also a great example of never giving up. He was released by the falcons a few years ago...because he wasnt making the grade...but he got his head down, trained like crazy and came back and asked for another trial....the rest is history.

A bit like prop Trevor Davison...he was a drayman and playing for Blaydon...whos pushed himself right up to this England squad. And whilst he'll probably not make the squad again...thats a magnificent achievement.

I'm not saying he's ready now, just the style and one of two I could think of quickly.
Obviously as a saints fan I rate him highly but think at the moment he's Saxons level really with quite a bit to work on.

The thing with our current crop of locks is they are mostly quite small apart from Hill. He's not the finished article at all but I think he's one to develop and keep in the team. But if he's injured don't replace Hill with Lawes for instance as they just are polar opposites.

Hope that makes sense. I'm sure there are some other monster young English locks but I can't think right now.

Of all your praise - that really stands out, and speaks volumes for the man - and provides some life experience that those who were always going to make it simply don't have.
Given that, he will NOT be one to rest on his laurels, expecting another chance to simply present itself.
I look forward to watching him, and will keep an eye out for him in club rugby now.

Radwan looks like a good replacement for May in terms of speed and opening up defences.

Anyone interested in 4 tickets for England v Canada tomorrow? I can't go. Happy to sell for face value £50 each, £200 total. Lower tier, block 22 between the halfway and try lines - great view!

Electronic tickets - install the Twickenham app on your phone and I can transfer the tickets instantly. We can do it one ticket at a time if you're concerned re: transferring the full amount in one go.

Any questions just ask.

Thanks! Lee - 07738 129208

Christian Scotland-Williamson has just been confirmed by Quins. He's a big bloke - 6'9" and 19.5 stone.

He hasn't played rugby for 3yrs but I would be fairly confident that his time in NFL has improved his athleticism. He's pretty fast for a bloke his size and very physical so if the move works out, he could be a surprise late developer (he's 28).

Yeah I did have my eye on him before he went. He's probably earned a right wedge while not even 'making it' over there. Can't blame him.

I fancied a little go at American football but it's a lot of admin with the stuff and rules. There's quite a few teams around the midlands.

I had a go at it a few years back and didn't really enjoy it.

I was training as an outside linebacker and it was very repetitive and boring.
