England v South Africa

I really don't understand why Matfield decides to go for goal now with the penalty.

Matfield is not a suited captain. Juan Smith should get a say in what to do because Matfield's decision-making has cost us enough now

Now Francois Steyn with a penalty from about 50 metres (how many inches/feet/yards is that Olyy? haha)

Ref blew his whistle for end of advantage/SA penalty when Tindall got the ball, and Stey ran in and high tackled/renched him to the floor by his throat/neck

I don't know if you knoe this, but the predominant supporters theory is that
Matfield should replace Smit as Al Capitano

@ Olyy: I missed that

@ LH: I know but I think experience according to the number of tests played is not per se the reason to make someone captain.

Well, 6-6 is not that bad. I told you guys, South Africa can not play that badly twice in a row, just like I said last week about Scotland.

Don't be surprised if Alberts comes on for Stegmann and crushes through the defense in the second half.

England very lucky for it to be only 6-6 at halftime,
SA are dominant in almost every aspect,
Lineout is all SAs, with them starting to steal ours now too,
Scrum i'd say is fairly even BUT England are being stupid and engaging early, gifting SA the put in
Flood wasn't having too good a game before he went off, so lets hope Hpdgson can improve that,
Croft is a big loss, especially in the lineout, but Fourie doing well so far with an important turnover in the 22

Lets hope it's like the All Blacks test, and England remember to have their oranges at halftime and come out all guns blazing!

I agree, Johnson wants to have cracked some skulls at half time!! Lawes has kept us in the game, where is the confidence that we saw against Australia? I hope we can step it up and produce some good solid rugby. As you all know it's the basics that count!

Agreed, Lawes has been the best England player on the pitch so far, stopped two tries (tackle on Matfield and diving on the grubber) and put in some big hits and carries

Well, I am very curious to see what will happen in the second half because this year SA has not yet played a match 80 minutes. They either play good the first half or the second half. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Good start so far. A penalty that swirls outside-in right between the posts. 6-9

Kirchner injured, Stegmann missing 2 tackles... Does that finally mean they are being subbed?

Jacobs on for Kirchner now and what an amazing clearence kick by Pienaar... Can't wait to see him back at Ulster again

edit: And there is Alberts for Stegmann!!! Now for his 3rd sub-try in a row?

The more i watch the more i feel this could turn very nasty with a large margin to SA. England are running out of juice...
