England v New Zealand - 2 November 2024

With wiggy moving up to the right hand man role I hope they get a dedicated attack coach going forward. Wiggy can do it as he showed at leicester and when things clicked in the six nations, but maybe spread far to thin now and steve seems to have gone back to kick edict

There was plenty on that last time though, and no particular threat.

If the plan is to kick them to death with drop goals and moving the ball forwards off the boot, then play Ford, alongside Spencer.

It's like picking Ford and telling him to play Farrell, we've picked Marcus and told him to play like Ford - difference is, Ford could do a decent impression of Farrell (just with higher skill levels, and less petulance)
Agreed

Feeling if NZ click in the second half it's going to be a black out
Really if they werent as poorly disciplined and sloppy they would be out of sight. Can see what robertson is trying to do though, attack seems aimed at beating the blitz makes sense considering saffa are their main oppo

The whole attack just looks disjointed. It's been like this for a while, but England always seem to play like they haven't drilled their moves enough or they are not sure what they other players will do.

For me this is the biggest difference between us and the top 4. They look like when they get the opportunity they will likely finish it off. When England get into the 22 I'm hoping for a penalty advantage because I don't trust them to score.
Yeesh, it's sort of felt like that since 2003 with a mild relief in 2014, 2018 and 2019

Nice.
And excellently delayed by Marcus to make the pass

Was that Slade cutting from outside shoulder to inside? Ws also a good decision.

Nope, was the wing commander - still a great decision

nice wow wow wee wow GIF

Good try but NZ were making dents beforehand. They've still played 90% of the rugby and will be pretty frustrated at the scoreboard.
