Nearly ready for prem.

Willis was good, but the idea that he could be used to outmuscle at international level after one prem game is a bit OTT.

Bearing in mind it was the Sarries defence he was up against. I'd wager they could stop quite a few international teams.

I would take you up on that wager.

The difference between prem and internationals is huge, how many players excel at club level only to be meh at international level, they might do a job against a tier 2 country but that's pointless. I mean he looked good but how much was that down to the rest of wasps looking a bit meh.
Also had Sarries switched off by then? I mean they had the TBP on the 66th minute and didn't score again whereas wasps got 2 tries in that time how much was looking at champions cup.

He has potential but there are 3 other young 7's that have stood out in more prem games.

To but it into perspective Jack Willis is a year older than Evans pretty much who has 14 caps for tigers, nearly 2 years older than the curries who have Tom 13 caps and Ben Curry 16 caps and only 6 months younger than Underhill 37 caps for ospreys and a couple for Bath.

What am I looking at? London Irish?
I feel like I'm out of the loop here

Mean Joe is going to wreck the prem ........

Heres a question will he stay at Irish if they get relegated and Eddie wants him around the training squad?

Andrews views on Eddie successor rings true though.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-un...jones-dont-hold-breath/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw

Could do with trying to get the likes of Borthwick, Gustard, Vesty, Hepher etc coaching gigs in the Super rugby even if it is just at assistant level IMO.
It's tough because I do agree with Andrew there isn't the desire to leave England by the coaches good pay, good comp why leave but we need to expand our coaching horizon.
Maybe we should be looking at the promising academy coaches like at Tigers 9For example as i don't know the other academy coaches) Deacon and Allen who could prob afford to go a season abroad to learn other stuff.

I reckon Eddie might be open to another World cup depending on how 2019 goes.

Louis Deacon and Julian Whyte could have

All hail the one true White

Champion cow farmer

The wider your experience, the better you'll be. And that goes for players as well as coaches. Can't do any harm to spend time outside the Premiership and academy bubbles, especially for youngsters below Super standards.

This is not a new theme though.

For those keeping an eye on the EPS squad... JJ came off with an elbow injury against Wuss

Just read that Rob Andrew piece. What a toe rag. Stuck it into Martin Johnson and now sticks it into Stuart Lancaster. Obviously he takes no blame as the person that hired them.....

Quite funny really how he lists 2 failures of England succession yet fails to mention the fact that he was the one who made the call both times and it was on his watch that we got into this situation (or perhaps more accurately, stayed in it). It's the usual thing for people with egos like this, they get to a position where they have all the power and yet magically none of the responsibility.

So sam Simmonds, i mentioned him as a future 8 that offers something different and injury cover if billy is out but could anyone see him playing 6 alongside billy or hughes? Not a traditional 6 but nor is he a normal 8. With a beast like billy/hughes and him as a second option on the field as well sounds dangerous?. Might not work but im just thinking if eddie wants a brute at 8 would it work because im sure baxter would give him time on the flank and put armand at 8 should eddie want that ( as he has with slade at 13)

Just a thought ive had. With the new lawes its harder to compete at the breakdown so maybe less traditional back 3 could work :)

May I just ask where this new narrative of Slade playing OC "at Eddie's request" comes from?
Is it the same place as the previous "Watson needs to play FB for Bath before being considered there"?

It seems that the only way either comment can be made is if people haven't watched that player for the previous 3-4 years and consider this a new experiment, rather than the bulk fpof the individual's career.

Watson at FB seems most people personal preference but not official i guess but EJ has said thats where hes looking at slade and thats where he has played. But IMO wont play 13 for england because ford faz slade is just too many 10s.
He,d make 23 come on for ford and also bring on teo. Faz teo slade could work but not sure tbh plus would have to out shine JJ and Daly

Which doesn't mean hat Henry hasn't played most of his career at 13.
If Eddie suggested that Mako got some time at LHP, or that he'd like to see Daly playing OC, it wouldn't get any comments at all why does this one?
