England EPS 2017/18 edition.

Yeah - I'd also say that Bath makes the most sense for Te'o - whilst also making sense for the club too.

However, despite nominating him in the team I'd pick for the Argentina match; I do have reservation about him. I just think that Ben Te'o is all about Ben Te'o - he does what he does, and if the rest of the team goes along with that, then fine, if they don't, he won't change. I don't think he puts his body on the line, or takes one for the team; he'll play for the highlights reel, and for England selection, not bust a gut to get that bonus point for the club.
I suspect that he's quite divisive in the dressing room- and Bath have had enough of that recently.

I've seen nothing to suggest that. He puts his body on the line in defence all the time, he hits like a brick wall. He's got his playing style and that's the style he suits, I don't think that makes him this selfish player you've described him as, that's just how he's best utilised in the team.

Hi there. I am an American, and I am researching why people prefer Rugby over American Football. Besides the obvious fact that American football occurs in America, is there a reason why you would choose to watch a Rugby match over American football?

Thanks for your help!

An interesting question that I'd like to contribute to in a relevant thread.

I like American Football as do many British rugby fans.

Major difference is the time stoppages and therefore the length of the game.

Will Teimana Harrison be in consideration for 8? I'd completely forgotten about him until I saw him in the England Alternate Kit poster. I don't think that he should be however we have very limited options if Hughes is out. Harrison's capped, he has experience in the set up and he's been playing at 8 all season. He seems to have really fallen out of favour with EJ but I can see him being recalled.

I never see harrison as an 8 esoecially not an international one. Might work vs argentina but if your calling up someone new then call up someone to develop rather than filling a gap. Harrison and clifford are 7s that can play 8, more happy with clifford there if was fit. But got to look at the young lads. Potencial back row of robshaw simmonds underhill or young one of underhill simmonds b curry ( as tom is injured)

But harrison hasnt delived for england at 7 so hard to put him in a no 8 spot.

Reason i like simmonds is because he is powerful but quick aswell. He can make breaks and put a team on the front foot giving ford faz combo time to get that ball wide quick amd let out dangers out wide do what they can

and that he plays for chiefs :p

@TRF_Olyy tell Beaumont to move back to 8 and play like he was 3 seasons ago dammit.

Haha, no if he plays for england that means chiefs dont have him for AI and 6N so part of me hopes he doesnt. Wish we had him last week haha if he didnt tackle hughes with his face obv.

Are you saying you dont agree with me previous post about getting a call up to england under the circumstances?

Nah just having a bit of fun.

Would have him in the england setup.

Simmonds' try yesterday was a beauty. Can't imagine any other forward in the Prem would've managed that one, maybe Clifford but I doubt it. Simmonds really is something special.

Crocked meaning what? Is that injured? I hope not

Simmonds or Beaumont?

I think Willis will have got himself on Jones' radar if he wasn't already there. Pretty strong performance. If we ever wanted to just outmuscle our opponents, Willis, Underhill and Vunipola as our back row would certainly do that (although it would be very unbalanced)
