When did luke cowan-dickie for out of favour, looked strong aganist ulster bumping off players, i know he isnt top 2 but LCD v Tommy Tailor who wins? LCD's line out is massivly improved

Even as a Chiefs fan I have to say Tommy Taylor's the better option. LCD's lineouts although improved are still suspect and he seems to have a similar problem to Genge in that he struggles holding onto the ball.

Taylor for me is the standout of the two.

His form has been consistent for ages now, and he has prob the biggest workrate of all the hookers IMO.

I'd rather see him take over the 2 shirt than George. George is a great footballer but I feel he's more of an impact sub. For me, Taylor's immense work rate make him a more solid starting option.

In terms of raw ability, LCD. Taylor is consistent as hell though.

Those two are the most talented guys we have IMO.

It was great seeing LCD bump Best off twice with ease. Best actually seemed to have a poor game. Up front LCD was bumping him and on the wings he was too slow.

Ulster aren't in a good place atm - at least, not away from home - and I'm not paying huge attention to how well players do against them.

According to Whichtylers stats chart ,LCD has , on average, twice as many carries and three times metres made that Taylor has. He's a much more dynamic ball carrier and IMO Taylors equal ,workrate wise.
LCD has been a little unlucky injury wise ,as its stunted his development a bit.
Start of the season he was best hooker in AP until his injury (Flatman was virtually dribbling) so lets hope he stays injury free for the rest of the season.
Icant wait for a Sinckler, LCD, Genge front Row. It'll come sometime, hopefully.

Not totally sure what I think on pecking order behind Hartley atm.

EJ seems to value the basics, so I guess George is next in line - very good player, but maybe lacking the stardust that sometimes visits LCD. But I think LCD will stay on the periphery until EJ is totally convinced of his darts, which do seem to be heading in the right direction.

Taylor's the interesting one. In many ways I'd like to see him in, but maybe we need to find some more powerful scrummaging props first.

Taylor's workrate is insane, including in the rucks, which don't get recorded in stats.

He's also 103/103 for tackles this season I believe...

I've never understood people having LCD over Taylor,
Taylor is quite comfortably the better player.

As has been pointed out - aside from the subjective judgment that LCD is better, you can show he is objectively more effective in certain areas.

Flatman takes LCD over Taylor, and he knows a few things about front rowers.

"quite comfortably" ?? -not sure about that .

On his day LCD is the best hooker in the country. But when it's not his day, he can't hold the ball and his lineouts go to s***. I don't believe a player as inconsistent as he is can really be considered over Tommy Taylor. That said, on form I'd take both + George over Hartley.

I havent seen his lineout go to s*** this season, in fact its been v. consistent as far as i'm aware. Yeandle on the other hand has been generally terrible.

I've forgotten which games they were but there were a few after he was first emitted from EJs AI squad where his lineouts were pretty iffy. They seem to have sured up again now, but still, the inconsistency is worrying. England games also always seem to bring out the worst of his lineouts anyway. Seems as though he can't handle the pressure when it comes to international level.

I agree entirely with 5 years. But don't see any irony between wanting the rules changed, but adhering to the current rules.
