England EPS 2016/17 season.

Sorry that makes no sense...???

If you think he's nothing special then you obviously haven't seen him play much....

PS we're now playing very good rugby....and he's still outstanding....

There's a lot of great players in the Premiership. What does he bring that Wood or Armand or Ewers or Gibson or Clark or Williams or Jones etc.etc. absolutely can't do? And in fairness, the same question goes back, because by and large those players aren't anything special either.

Right now, the guys making the squad are those with plenty of experience of the big occasion, or those with age on their side. That's the right call to me. Wilson and Armand... I don't think they'd do badly for us but they're probably not going to be involved and there's good reasons for that.

I'd go with that.

Wilson is like Ewers, but without the top end quality.

Speaking of Wilson... what the hell is Scott Wilson doing?

Promising TH at u20 level, played Saxons straight after... nothing since. I'm assuming he's had injuries.

Robshaw confirmed out of 6Ns and for 12 weeks to have surgery and to recover. Itoje to 6 and Lawes to lock for the France game?

damn it.

Maybe see Itoje @ 6, guess it depends on how much he rates Williams and Beaumont as 6 options i guess.

Could see
4) Launchbury
5) Lawes
6) Itoje
7) Wood
8) Clifford (?)
19) Williams
20) Beaumont

guess depends who he brings up.

Kruis is gonna be back iirc. Picking 2 from 3 from Launch, Lawes and Kruis really does suggest sending Itoje back a row with Robshaw out unless there's a strong ideological bias against it or the potential replacements are playing like madmen.

Don't jinx it.

Mentioned elsewhere maybe look to add Jason Woodward to the Argentina tour maybe?

Actually really looking for to this tour should be a proper mixed squad, hopefully field a strong squad aswell.

Maybe something like
1) Genge, Mullan, Hepburn/Catt
2) Taylor, Cowan-Dickie, Heywood/McGuigan
3) Sink, Hill
4) Attwood, Slater
5) Ewels, Williams
6) Wood,
7) Jones, Clifford
8) Morgan, Chisholm
9) Robson, Spencer
10) Loz, Burns (ford depending on lions)
11) Roko, Yarde (for some reason he keeps getting picked.....)
12) Slade, Hurrell
13) Daly, Thompkins
14) May, Wade
15) Woodward, Haley

If you mean Burrell then you need shooting. He doesn't even deserve a bench spot for the Spanish B team let alone the saints or England. He's back to his original form of forgetting how to pass, catch and tackle.

No Will Hurrell.

I'm assuming you've forgotten rather than left out Beaumont?

Personally on form would rather have the others ahead of him. (Morgan and him maybe 50/50)

Really?

Perhaps I misremember, what I do know, is that he was massively important to the Rebels... his goal kicking in particular.

Can't imagine he's particularly interested in playing for NZ or Oz if he left. Him chasing Oz makes it sound like he just wants to play international rugby, doesn't really care who for. So doubt he'd reject a call up.

I thought it was the other way arond? that he was chasing Aus (who didn't want him)

No Aus where chasing him.

He wasn't getting a super rugby contract in NZ moved to Aus to make a name for himself hence the newly formed and struggling Rebels basically on a 2 year deal I think Aus wanted him to stay but he got the contract he wanted from NZ.

Sounds about right.

English mum, 2 years at Hartpury, and an English girlfriend so wouldn't be the most outrageous claim ever.
