Who are these fcukers? Song is ok, doesn't have much shape, but the video is wonderful - again. 7/10.

Bringing the pace down - heard this on the radio today, from a man who sweats for Ireland and used to live on Guinness and fry ups, until he had a heart attack (2:49) - please, no jokes about My Lovely Horse:

Some Band of Horses for yes. One of my favourite bands of the last couple of years.

And by the by, MGMT are a class stuff. Saw them at Oxegen, before Band of Horses actually..t.hen it was the Raconteurs which was class, Jack White is some sort of god of Riff. Then the last concert of the festival was Rage Against the Machine. Great run of bands that was.

Tiz alright, three chords and the truth and all that ... with a bit of baseball field-of-dreams thrown in. 6/10.

Following the Christy path ... via Moving Hearts to ... this (3:22):

It's nice but little more than a chillout 'tune' if may say so myselh, I'll mix it up a bit,
Oh, and I completely agree with you about my previous tune, it really is just a catchy three chord song,

Alice in Chains â€" Would,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3FnQMSD4Zg

Video seems a bit irrelivant becaus it was for a film (Singles â€" greatest soundtrack ever, basicly a guide to the 90s Seattle Grunge movement.

Back into my Grunge obsession of late. And I know I'll end up flipping back to 60/70s prog after sometime in the new year, it always happens.

Heard of them, but never listened. OK, not great - more image than substance. 5/10.

Seriously, how does it compare to this:

I love Led Zeppelin. One of my favourite bands.. 9.9/10, because nothing's perfect.

The great guitar duo....

absolutely awesome 10/10. I keep hearing these two amazing mexican guitarists and never remember their name! Thanks!

This guy is a mate of mine, oozes guitar talent.

That was nice and soothing music and also a great guitarist. I liked it a lot actually, 9/10.

Psycho Killer would be one of Talking Heads' better songs IMO, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=b2bU-wqkCJY&...feature=related[/b]
7.5/10. They done better.

I like the Fred Baty stuff - wonder did he produce the whole thing himself?

On the mexican guitarists - still don't remember their name - I love this youtube comment:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
i play the guitar much better than these two noobs[/b]
I saw them years ago at a concert in a Dublin church - amazing talent, but thought they were flash in the pan. Good luck to them.

On the guitary stuff, listen to this - where did Knopfler get his ideas from ? (1:34):

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ9PRzIyzFA&...feature=related

Fred does a lot of his stuff with 2 guitars; he dubs one over the other but it's his playing always. He made an album, and also had it remixed by various different producers. Both = great chillout listening. It was him who first played me Rodrigo Y Gabriela; my mate was driving us to some party in the sticks and we had the ipod blaring out standard pre bashment hype up dnb/ garage and then he put this on.... f***ing sick.

the virtuoso guy - talented! 8/10.

on the accoustic guitar theme...Plan B - No More Eating

Arf arf - I remember that song but as usual can't figure out the lyrics - is he singing No More Eton For You Now? or No More Eating For You Now?

One is misguided Labour lefty nonsense. The other is a cruel rant against the hungry.

Is good, but the sight of all those champagne bottles takes the edge off. So 7/10.

Followed Irish rugby with a pint in your hand? Then you've roared yourself hoarse to this chorus:

Youtube comments stopped because of porn spam - "the big limousine rolling up her drive" :p

Ah, that's good. English bands are great at that kind of music. Would have been good to hear them live in a small venue.

8/10.

Never knew they did the Nigel song as well.

And that's a good song from The Music too - never heard of them.

The great Luke Kelly delivers a favourite Irish singalong - out of control facial hair, with a story about a drunkard blaming his woes on a devil woman (4:02):

I love the image of the guy mesmerised with the beer bottles in hand. And Christy Moore makes an appearance.
