Well the last post didn't have a song to comment on, so i will fire it up again. This is such an awesome song. It has so much life!

Atryeu - Slow Burn[/b]

7/10. Okay, but sort of cheesy wannabe punk - doesn't seem genuine somehow.

Here's a classic:

4/10. cheesy.

this is cheesy in a different sense, an i like it. especially the voice in the chorus: Delerium - Silence

Cat Stevens is too ironic to be cheesy!

I'd give that 7.5/10. It's not bad, but pales in comparison to some of Green Day's earlier work.

I consider this to be the greatest song ever written by a Scot, so if you disrespect it, then you disrespect my nation, and you could have a lot of angry ginger people on your hands:

Powderfinger - Belter http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=NbZtNBcW4Lg[/b]

2/10

Absolutely awful sounding guitars imo. Sounded like they were just making the song up as they were going along. Not my cup of tea i'm afraid.

Welcome home - Coheed and Cambria

Eeek. Sorry, just not my cup of tea at all, 1/10 in my opinion.

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel with Make Me Smile.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fxoke4yuWlI...feature=related[/b]
The song gets a 6/10 from me but the fact that Jimmy Saville appears in that clip brings it up to 10/10.

Recently I can't get enough of this band:

I like the beat a lot, they remind me a lot of the Eels, just not that crazy about these songs that get "talked" rather than sung (although they mroe often than not have some really interesting lyrics).

7.5 / 10

Jax Panik - Cigarettes & Cinnamon

I really dig this song at the moment, one of my favorite new SA bands.

Oh, I dunno. Weller has a narrow range on the Axis of Awesome, approximately 9 to 10.

I give this a 9 - excellent punk rock.

Obvious follow on, but what a fcukin song - better than Clapton:

10/10

One of my favourite songs of all time.

How about this?

My favourite local band and one of my favourite bands in general.
