Hopefully better conditions than last weekend will be really interesting to see that back line (Bar Banaham).

what's that, another food and beverage post-Rugby retirement project ? sounds good. Matt Banahan retires and creates Bar Bana-Ham, or better yet Bar Banana-Ham, banana splits with your choice of freshly sliced smoked ham. "So good it should be Banana-Banned".

Looking forward to tonight's game. Hopefully see a bit more of burgess.

That pack looks nothing short of delicious, no condiments needed even. Now, it actually needs to perform consistently....
Two scrumhalves for the HB pairing.
Odd looking bench...

this is the Glasgow squad to play Toulouse

Stuart Hogg, Sean Maitland, Richie Vernon, Alex Dunbar, Tommy Seymour; Finn Russell, Henry Pyrgos; Ryan Grant, Pat MacArthur, Jon Welsh, Tim Swinson, Jonny Gray, Ryan Wilson, Rob Harley, Josh Strauss (capt).

Replacements: Fraser Brown, Gordon Reid, Euan Murray, Leone Nakarawa, Niko Matawalu, Duncan Weir, Peter Horne, Sean Lamont.

hopefully the forwards for Glasgow will have much a better performance than they're performance last week. Well Glasgow forwards will need to put in a better shift if Glasgow are to have any chance off winning.

wut ?! Glasgow were Warriors indeed at the breakdown last week, and defiantly so in Toulouse, away. Toulouse were subjected to a much more efficient, organized and hungry Scottish pack. It was just embarrassing/frustrating in parts. Toulouse better produce about twice the game they did at home to get this one, and better find some chemistry, continuity and unison FAST.
Nyanga has said in an interview he hopes Toulouse are "less stupid than people think" in constantly alternating a big then a bad game and fulfill their claims as undefeated pool leaders...eh we'll see huh..

Toulouse are mystifying, very strong on paper (I think a full strength Bath is probably stronger) but so many times they fail when it matters.

Bath tonight will destroy that Montpeiller side. 50 is on the cards and Louw is back... Burgess starting at 12... Jesus Eastmond didn't even make the 23.

Eehhhhh, not really.
Eastmond is quite clearly first choice 12 and is far far better than Burgess there (at the moment).
He's being rested and Burgess is being given his first start in a game that Bath will cruise through - not much more to read into it than that.

Just realised Hooper is on the bench - praise the Lord! Day/Attwood should absolutely be Bath's first choice second row. Making Hooper captain was a mental choice considering he is a huge step down from either of those two. He'll be back next week, though, and the other 11 sides in the prem will cheer.
I would've thought Louw would take back the captaincy, but it makes sense to give it to someone else considering how long he's been out - ease him back into Bath rugby.

not really how many time did Tekori won the turnover in rucks ?, The Glasgow line-outs were bad as well as the Glasgow Scrums, that clearly shows that the forwards lost Glasgow the game as Glasgow had a great start

is that his new nickname or something now ?...

Toulouse just need a new coach now. I know one user in particular will disagree with that, but it's just not normal to look this disjointed and unorganized so often and under-perform like that when you have so much on paper. And tbh Bath isn't as loaded as Toulouse on paper if you take pure individual ability cumulatively, although they do have key players at key positions (David Wilson at TH for e.g., or Toulouse's halfback issues over the past 3 years).

Toulouse are fresh off an amazing comeback but have sucked again in the past 2 games, and now it's just final for me: Novès is without a doubt one of the greatest coaches of all-time but his time is up. Rugby has moved on, he hasn't. It's clear as of the past 3 seasons. I think he isn't surrounded well either (Servat, superb hooker, terrible coach it seems. Elissalde for the backs I just don't know). Their not coming through in the bigger moments isn't choking, it's just inefficacy. It's not like Clermont that will play superb Rugby all year long consistently, utterly under control, and then lose games they shouldn't - Toulouse just looked fkng clueless in Munster last year for e.g., they gave em a fight merely based on individual quality, but as a team they were just bizarre to look at. Completely underwhelming again vs Racing at home in the Top 14 playoffs.

It looks like Novès is applying the same thing stubbornly without trying to get with the times. You can't blame him too much really, he's an old man who's won his entire career and has been the coach of the great Toulouse for the past century, and all of a sudden he's told he needs to change...but in the meantime, Toulouse are paying the bill result wise.
They'll look magnificent every once in a while in one game, or put a superb series of games together, but in the end they can't overlook their needs from a strategic standpoint or the glaring lack of control in their identity. They live on a "well, let's just see what happens !" attitude.

Their winning tomorrow won't have a big effect on what I'm saying here. I don't think there's a chance in hell they can do anything in the Top 14 or Euro Cup this year. I was under the illusion they maybe, just maybe might during that crazy streak of theirs, but then I'm reminded of the erratic entity they are imminently.

3 times, and that's exactly my point. That's ONE GUY Scotty. Take Tekori out and you've got 2 tries scored by Glasgow !

but still the forwards performance for Glasgow was lower then expected apart from Jonny Gray who i thought played well and Josh Strauss

Think the TMO is a Burgess fan 'n' all, that was a very clear knock on!
His justification was "It hit his knee before his hand"

Edit: Attwood gone within 10mins. Oh dear.

Burgess feeling his cheek and Attwood off with a shoulder injury.

Flatman needs to hop off Sam's dick - he's trying to play rugby!

"When your 12 makes that much ground, then it's really up to the forwards to back him up, make sure they're there"

He made less than a metre

Flat-nan is getting on my nerves, a lot.

Quite unimpressed with Bath tonight..... They are all over the place.

Ford has put in some nice bombs but really he needs to give territory to his forwards, 30 yard passes to isolated players isn't what you need with 25 minutes gone. The bonus point will come they just need patience. Also that Mont scrum is scary, Attwood is a big miss.

Yeah, bit of a bum fight so far.
Bath have a decent lead, but Montpellier are playing crap. Bath having flashes of individual stuff but as a team haven't been great.
Scrum getting rinsed as well.
