Pacquiao out for 9-12 months, going under surgery for a tear in his right rotary cuff. He was also denied painkillers / anti-inflammatories before the fight - a first, he claims, in his career.

There's a clip of one of his right hand counters. He looks so weak.

Your reporting is inaccurate . Manny & his manager signed an affidavit just before the fight in which he stated he was not injured . He tried to have an injection for pain killers as a precaution . This was rejected by the commission who became suspicious .

They said he could only fight if he proved to them he was fit to fight . He was made to throw right hands in his warm up. He passed the test !!!
By the way I have watched the fight several times . Manny was not impeded by the injury. He was outclassed by a superior boxer. That was the view of many including elite boxers such as Lennox Lewis , mike Tyson Keith Thurman , Amir khan. Floyd controlled the distance superbly.
May I remind you of manny s post fight interview after the fight.
" I thought I won the fight"
Manny why did you fail to hit him
" because he couldn't stand still "
This interview occurred in the ring .
At the post fight press conference
We heard about the injury impeding him. He said he began to fill the pain in the third.
He lost the first three rounds and did not noticeably slow after the first 3,rounds .

I'm not disagreeing with you on the point of him being outclassed by a superior boxer. I'm not sure why they didn't disclose that he had an injury, but he did have one. He went under successful surgery for it today.
Many commentators commented as well on the fact that Manny did not have his right jab and hook going. I don't know how you didn't see it either, including the gif I showed. Mayweather knew of his injury, because lunging in like that vs a southpaw is a stupid thing to do.
One of Mayweather's power punches deflected off Manny's chin and hit right on the shoulder, so I'm pretty sure that's what aggravated the injury more.

If a rematched occured, neutral venue's, not everything weighted in Floyds favour - a fully fit Manny would threaten him much more. Although I'd imagine Mayweather would still win.

If he was hurt why didn't he alert the relevant people about it and postpone the fight?

Again, I don't know why he didn't alert people. There isn't much doubt he was hurt, even Kellerman who gave Pacquaio a grilling postmatch said he was most definitely hurt. Not up to scratch in my biology here but a quick read would suggest the rotary cuff injury would have a huge impact on a boxer.

Could you imagine trying to postpone a fight of that magnitude though?

Manny performance suggests otherwise . I suggest you all watch the fight again.I note with interest that professional boxers think manny would have lost with or without the injury . Whilst manny's fans & floyds many haters think he was grossly affected. Case in point Chris Algieri who last fought manny pacuio said his speed and power was there. The only difference he thought was mental. Golovkin , Denton wilder, Lennox Lewis , mike Tyson the list goes on all thought he was beaten by a superior boxer .

And I suggest you read again what I said - In case you struggle with reading, I said I think Mayweather would still win.

Can anyone even put up a challenge vs Anthony Joshua? I've not seen this total dominance since Tyson first came on the scene.
No way the Klistschko's will fight him, I'm guessing they'll both retire.

Vitali already retired a couple years ago. With Wlad's age maybe he will catch him at the right time as he's pushing 40 now. However he still has a formidable jab right now which makes him really hard to connect cleanly. I'd back him to destroy the likes of Fury, Chisora etc now though.

Yeah I agree. Fury is a joke. He doesnt have the brain or conditioning to make it (although he seems like a really nice guy, and always apologetic when he's made to say crap about his opponent before fights).
Looks like once again we have a real star coming through, just as all competition disappears.

To be honest right now I wouldn't think Joshua would stand a chance against Klitschko. Yes Klitschko is old, but he controls a ring about as well as any heavyweight boxer you'll ever see. He's kept himself in great shape too. I think Joshua would also struggle against a guy like Wilder, who has just as much power, is quite a bit quicker and a tad taller. Povetkin would also give him a very hard time. With that said, Joshua and Parker are two of the best prospect in boxing at the moment. I would love to see Joshua get a crack against Fury after Wladimir beats him.

We won't know how good Joshua is until he fights a genuine challenger. People get carried away when they see him beat Kevin Johnson. Who was coming off losses to Tor Hamer, Tyson Fury, Christian Hammer, Derek Chisora and Manuel Charr...now those guys aren't pushover boxers (well Tor Hamer is...), but they are long way off world beaters either. That was also an extremely early stoppage on Johnson. Like insanely early. I get you don't want damage to a guy on the ropes - but hundreds of fights have been won by the guy in that position. It's not like they were remarkably clean blows Joshua was hitting him with. No mistake I think Joshua would have won, but that was a BS stoppage. The time to stop would have been the second knock down of round 1 - not when it was officially called off.

Yep far too soon to tell just how good Joshua will be, he's fought journeymen so far. Even before he meets Tyson Fury, I think he needs to fight someone even below that level I.e. David Price.

I can't wait to see Joshua fight someone of high Calibur. It's clear he has power, but to what degree? Does he have the stamina? I want to see him fight kitschko, but it will never happen. A fight against fury would be exciting too!

Wonder whether Joshua has a chin too.
