Higginbotham stuck his knee into McCaw's head, then followed that up with a knee-drop to his throat, then when he was on the ground, he put his arm around the back of McCaws head to hold it in place and head butted him.

It all happened right in front of the AR, and Higginbotham should have been Red Carded!

Did everyone see the Aussie kid in the crowd on halftime giving the rockband style one finger solutes.... was pretty good coverage by the aussie crew there!!

Tony there is no real need for that. In all honesty the action was cheap. It does not matter the damage it's the intent.

I thought so too at first, but it was quite evident from the replay that after the kick, Hooper starts the movement backwards and then forward for the hit.

A head-butt is a head-butt. There are no "degrees" of head butt. Its an automatic red card if seen.
