i think everyone knows that chris ashton is the best england winger at the moment...
but im not a fan of cueto i believe there could be a far more threating dynamic winger on the other flank any opinions on who you think should be there..?

Debatable,
Ashton is a good support runner and very quick but isn't great at rucks (gave away a few penalties during the 6N for needlessly coming in at the side)
Cueto is dependable and rarely does anything wrong - runs good lines but doesn't have the pace to capitalise on this

I'd like to see James Simpson-Daniel in the mix, he's a fantastic player
Topsy Ojo is also good

Its a shame Sinbad has never really had a fair crack at playing for the seniors. Only ever has been included in Autumn internationals of friendlies against the Baa Baas. Not really justice considering how good he has consistently been for Gloucester over all the years he has been there. Totally agree with what you say about Cueto - always gives 100% and dependable but never really does anything spectacular. My concerns about Ashton are in his temperament. Against Ireland he lost his head once the game got away from us, needlessly getting involved with ROG when he didn't need to. That being said he has the raw talent needed on the wing that others in the past haven't.

Strettle is the only player I really see getting a shot at the moment but I wouldn't change it how it is. Sorting out the centre pairing should be the main concern!

its a shame about ojo was never given a full shot and simpson daniel would be an excelent winger...
how about sharples(in the long run) or varndel ..?

and i know what you mean about teh centres but i really think england could do with a more efficient man on the wing

I definitely think Sharples will be used in the future,
Not sure about Varndell - he's getting better at Wasps, but still not great
I think he's a one-trick pony: can run very fast but that's about it

Don't think wings should be looked at until after the WC,
Centres need to be sorted, and then someone for the 22 shirt (apparently Armitage played very well today - I don't really like him, but if he can play like he did a few years back then I don't begrudge him the bench spot as he's better than Banahan and Strettle)

yeah man i know .. i was meaning for liek the future after the world cup cause he defo wont change it before i doubt he will change anything(even though hape is terrible) i think he should bring sharples in after the wc see how he does.
i prefer armitage to banahan never been a fan of the big man tbh

Yeah, cueto is good but he dosent support like ashton, wot about monye, hes been playing well for the quins

Thats what makes Ashton a superb wing though is his ability to come in and pick superb lines.
But can I ask why do Gloucester players get overlooked for England when they seem to be going well and have a few nice players there.

don't know munster. for some reason players from gloucester and saracens seem to find it much harder to get into the england setup than those from other clubs. it's quite unexplainable. as is the constant exclusion of topsy ojo from the england setup, seeing as he's a far better all-round winger than anyone else. he'd certainly be my guy to wear 11 following the rwc.

Agree completely,

James Simpson-Daniel is an excellent winger and should have nailed down the 11/14 shirt while we were arseing around playing Sackey/Vainikolo/Strettle/whoever

As on dont get me wrong Cueto is a decent player but if a winger can hold down a spot without scoring or playing well in 19 games or so well that a poor sign isn't it

He played ok but not exceptional. He wasn't poor but scoring should be on his agenda and I just felt someone else shouldve been given a go
