Another interesting weekend.
To me it looks like:
Saints
Gloucester
Quins
Wasps
Tigers
Chiefs

Although I wouldn't mind if Sale surprise everyone and steal first win, especially from mighty Harlequins. :)

Bath vs Saints should be a good watch, both playing well so far.

I'd say I'm looking forward to Saracens vs Tigers, but Sarries will just shut down, kick the corners, and it'll be a boring match decided by who gives away the most penalties in their own half.

Seems very likely although the short turnaround for Saints and home advantage could see Bath win (I hope not though)
Its possible Saracens can win too but i dont think there up to speed yet.

Bath have stuttered against lover mid-table sides while Saints have been both brilliant and stupid (attempting to throw good margins) so far. On paper it should be Saints comfortably, indisipline and an inability to play for all 80 minutes means Bath go in as favourites IMO.

I'm gutted that I can't make Quins v Sale this week. I don't often say it but I think Sale may come good. If last season's fixture is anything to go by and the weather stays good it could be a belter!

Fingers crossed, however Will Addison is out with a broken jaw so unless Tom Brady is fit again (50/50) or Charlie Amesbury (disappeared off the face of the earth since pre-season) we'll be playing Corne Uys on the wing which doesn't inspire great confidence for attacking rugby.

I wonder how Irish will do against Wasps, if anybody besides Welsh goes down next season it will be Irish.

If Quins don't rape Sale I'll be surprised.

I hope you are right. I think I'm just struggling with the 'champions' tag. I preferred it when everyone was saying that quins would fade away after the RWC last year!

Nice start by Bath, Abendanon finishes well.
Barkley just pushes the conversion.

I <3 Carl Fearns.
Still gutted he left Sale, he's the exact type of player we're missing in the back row.

Bath doing well to pressure Myler's clearances.

Lee Mears, tragically unable to touch the bottom of the pool, and also throw straight.

Barkley just dipped a penalty under the cross bar. Second one he has missed by a hair.

Potentially, though I think it's unlikely.
He's never really been rated by England, being a consistant Saxons player but never really more than injury call up for the main squad.
If Foden were to be out long term they'd probably have Brown as fulltime 15, Goode backup and then call up someone like Johnny May from the Saxons who can play 11-15, as cover for them.

Urgh, kept in touch/even match for about 65 minutes then got dicked in the last 15.

Sarries vs Tigers is (predictably) a snooze-fest.
