I was feeling vaguely confident (or at least not as pessimistic as I should be...) until I saw our team.
Gaskell starting at 6 and 4 centres in the backs (and another on the bench).
I think we'll have the defence (though that's questionably with Gaskell at 6...) to keep the score reasonable, but think Chiefs will win.
Hopefully be <7.

I wish they weren't showing the double header.
I know it'd good for the game blah blah blah spectacle blah blah blah but Saints vs Gloucester is probably going to be the game of the weekend and it's not on the tellybox, whereas Sarries vs Not Nots is bound to be dross but is televised just because it's in a big stadium.

Would probably sell more tickets if it wasn't on the TV as well.

.....and here was me thinking that they gave them away (or good as) to get the numbers in and "spread the word"!!!

I did hear whispers of the last Wembley fixture that only around 20% of the Saracens "supporters" paid for tickets, the rest being freebees. All the Quins fans were fully paid.

Quins are getting dominated so far.
10mins in and they've had the ball for about 5 seconds in total.
13 - 0 to Wasps.

Edit: and another try! Would've been a double for Wade but he passed back to Varndell (while over the line) to get it down. Could've gone ***s up as Varndell almost got tackled back in to the field of play.

Edit2: Another try for Wade (could've been his third :p ) - All tries have been down George Lowe's channel, Oh dear!

Edit3: Bit of history made, TMO goes back to a forward pass at halfway to rule out a 4th try for Wasps (which would have been Varndell's second).
What a great first half of rugby, best I've seen in a while.

Edit4: Went away, came back, and Wasps have nearly thrown this game away! It's now 40 - 39 to Wasps with 8mins to go.

40-42 now LOL, what the hell Wasps, how can you blow a 40-13 lead.

Edit: Beerholder!!! Great to see you back bud.

Bloody hell, was not expecting that!
Two points better than nothing for Wasps, but they'll be kicking themselves for not getting the 5pts.

How is it possible to have that lead and lose it?

Current scores from the 3pm kickoffs:
Chiefs leading 26 - 6
Saints leading 24 - 12
Warriors/Bath drawing 15 - 15.

Bath turned the score around too and won by a point. Spectacular championship start.

P.S. Nice to be back, Little Boy :) I've been around, but not posting much...

Why did nobody tell me about this site before?
I was bleating on about it loads last season
Especially when they made full matches available to non-paying members!

We got absolutely humiliated by Chiefs. 43 - 6.
Not even a consolation try at the end.
Only good thing was our scrum (for the most part) performed well.

Well I probabaly wasn't paying attention, no offence

I see "them lot fluked" a 1 point win. Score 24 points and score no tries? Boring!!
